And all those countries don't miss it too, so they no issue of not having it.

And all those countries don't miss it too, so they no issue of not having it.

But its an international image that any multinational companies have a presence in a country which shows how vibrant a country is compared to those countries, who don't have one.But my surprise is about SL and Italy ! One can't expect these brands in somalia, yemen, libya etc..since every one knows that they defenitely don't have one.

It may be every coffee lover's dream, but it isn't coming true yet.

Contrary to rumours on the internet, popular American coffeehouse chain Starbucks is not setting up shop in Pakistan.

In the past fortnight, news of Starbucks' impending arrival has been circulating on social media forums, and fans of the coffee company have been speculating where it's likely to open its first outlet.

Upon enquiry from Starbucks' press management, Images learned that Starbucks has "no plans at this time to open a store in Pakistan."

This isn't the first time wishful thinking has gotten out of hand. There have been strong rumours in the past that a whole bunch of coveted foreign brands' are "coming to Pakistan", from fashion retailers like Zara and Victoria Secret to tech giants like Apple.

Those brands have yet to materialise — and Starbucks won't either. At least, not yet.

I don´t understand our fascination and obsassion with foreign brands. Why do we care if starbucks comes to Pakistan or not?

Here is how I put it politely, I don´t give a shit about starbucks. I hate coffee anyway.

For a foreigner once they come to a country, their choice of query and one such is about starbucks,KFC etc available in their visited city or not.Having a multinational chains means that how far one country/city is connected to International brands and so its value. You can't expect an international chain in multan/peshawar when lahore/karachi/islamabad don't have one.The same way if you don't have these brands means, you are not so connected to outside world especially western world.

It's not necessary that all international outlets come to every country or every country want all outlets in there country.

Partially agree, but the same way even somalians can also make the same statements, but i consider that as an excuse rather than facts.

For some reason this brand could not become very popular in India.

Do you guys have Hard Rock Cafe in Pakistan?
It is a major hit in India. I currently live in Bangalore and on weekends it is difficult to find a place inside. Long lines outside for hours. I think it is more successful than Starbucks (not a correct comparison but both are foreign brands)

They have installed a huge Guitar in Delhi.
