Raz, you are missing the point. The point is it is not like they would have much of a choice in the matter anyway. Had they wanted to stay they would never be given citizenship, so how can they be granted equal rights as everybody else if they cannot even apply for citizenship?? Living as a second class citizen in a place you call home is not viewed favorable by anyone.
