Similarities between the founding of Israel and Pakistan

There are indeed some similarities:

1) Both Israel and Pakistan were created as result of partition of former British colony.
2) In both cases the partition was followed by a war.
3) In both cases there was large population exchange:
- 7 million Muslims fled to Pakistan, 7 million Hindus fled to India
- 700 thousands Palestinians fled to Arab countries. 850 thousands Jews from Arab countries fled to Israel.
4) Both had additional bloody wars after that.
5) Both are US allies and get help from US.
6) Both have unrecognized nuclear weapons.
7) Both suffered a lot from suicide terrorism.
8) Both still have unsettled conflicts.

Pakistan is a recognized Nuclear weapons state. It already demonstrated it's capability in 1998.

There is a difference. Pakistan is an exporter of terrorism to all its neighbouring countries. Simply an attempt to get(land) from terrorism what their military cannot achieve.

Its suffering now from its own creations which it cannot control anymore. A little while back these same Pakistani's exploding in Pakistan were exploding in India.

Who is not settler? Some are early settlers, others are late, rest is politics.

Pakistanis are Indigenous to their lands.

Thats a fair comparison, though we are now a declared nuclear power.

No, they are not. It is because humans originated in Africa, from where they started to disperse around the world. It is proven by archaeogenetics studies.

Indigenous is an 'anthropological' term. I rest my case.

Its self declared. NPT recognizes only 5 nuclear states.

We don't recognize the NPT - not until our desired threshold is filled.

We, along with you and Pakistan aren't even signatories of NPT. Why would they recognize us, and does it even matter after conducting a verifiable Nuclear Weapons Test?

indians everywhere even when they have nothing to do with post, obsessed by PAKISTAN :pakistan:

i will write on the similarities on pakistan and israel today later sometime but one similaritiy that came imideately into my mind is

1: both isreal and india are religiously extremist
2: both lay the foundation of their country on religious bases.ie isreal on isreal and india on akhand bharat.
3: both claim a land which they held just for a few centuries , thousand of year ago.
4: both wants to capture a land just because of religion
5: both did genocide of other nations to keep the land.
6: both countries neighbour don't like them.
7: both have been alligated of serious crimes against humanity.
8: both countries do propoganda for their survival.
9: both think that they are the superior nation on earth.
10: both have inferiority complex.
......................
Totally agree..... Brilliant!!

Extremely well written points. U want a nobel??
yes, i want that for a himalayah .. don't you?

Punjab, Haryana, yes there were revenge massacres when they found bodies of their children and women slaughtered in trains coming from West Punjab. It was unfortunate. But that was exclusive mostly to bordering states. Most of Indian Muslims decided to stay back, hence why percentage wise their population in present day India increased from 7 or so percent to around 13-14% of today. Whereas Punjab (birthplace of Sikh religion) hindus and sikh used to be 35-40 %, now what are they? 1.2% or less?

Also if you are not Punjabi, then you won't understand the massacres on both sides of Punjab. Its a long history since the first Muslim invaders converted the first Punjabi by force.

And Kashmir, yes it is unfortunate. We can give them independence like Pakistan was given independence. But it will result in another partition. Hindu majority Jammu districts, and almost the entirety of Ladakh (including Pro Indian Shia Baltis), will have to be cut off from the valley. The policy makers do not want to see another partition, but I wouldn't mind to be honest.
revenge massacres? ..really...not everybody can leave everything for his new homeland...and why muslim should have left india, leaving everything behind...why not they can get their land on which they were living.....not just pakistan...it was both pakistan and india given independence from british colony.....before 1947 there was no country but a british colony that was divided and was given birth to 2 new states, pakistan and india......and even before that there were just kingdoms...any doubt....

both country,s neighbour fear their intelligence agencies...
both give headche to US
both are such US allies that US cannot afford a breakup with them..
:D

All the more reason for these two countries to have a relationship....

Pakistan and Israel have no reason to be hostile to each other as neither have any direct conflict of interest.

It is time for these two countries to have Diplomatic relations with each other.

Don't you think it is time for our two Nations to have Diplomatic Relations with each other ?

If Pakistan could have diplomatic relations with India, albeit of Kashmir issue, why not with Israel? However, to do that, we first need to come out from the Saudi influence, and that is not going to happen until we fix our economy. Napoleon said "An Army marches on its stomach", I say, everything, from sovereignty to international policy to domestic policy, marches on its stomach. That much is the importance of good economy. However, I don't think my generation will live to see that day.

It is a most welcome thing.
While it is understandable why you overall support the Palestinian cause, a peace with Pakistan means another nation that can help us bridge over our differences in this region and reach peace in the Levant, exactly like Egypt which helps us reach a ceasefire every now and then.
