Im talkin abt sikh population in india... abingdonboy said its just 2% .. now somebody ask him to find out the percentage of 1.2-3 billion... while Pakistani sikhs are not even 1% of the 170-175+ million people.

As a matter of fact Sikhs do not own any land in Pakistan. It was all taken away in 1947. Before the events of 1947, sikhs owned 20% of land in Pakistani Punjab.

Today in Indian Punjab they own 80% of the land in Indian Punjab making them wealthy and rich and 20% of the land in the neighbouring state of Haryana.

Sikh wealth and power in India cannot be matched a handful of Sikhs which Pakistan keeps for showpieces.

Long live the Sikhs of India. They are brave sons of the soil. Pakistani propaganda cannot change the history that the Sikh Gurus were executed by the merciless Muslims.

Evil muslims... another evil muslim was Abdullah Bhatti who saved sikh n hindu women from mughals ... adopted them and married them as his daughters... he was put up a resistance... fought the mughals... who shifted their capital to lahore... and was later captured and hanged in anarkali... lohri etc is celebrated even today with songs of his valor..

Also kiddo... u love to post BS... but you easily forget what happened to the muslims of punjab on indian side during 47...

Indian Government in 1984 perpetrated terrorism against the whole Sikh community, they desecrated and attacked their Holy temple in Amritsar during a Sikh religious day. The Indian government and police persecuted the Sikh community killing and raping Sikh people, and burning Sikh homes during the pogrom against Sikhs. To this day those involved against atrocities against this "famous" "land owning" community in Indian Punjab have not been brought to justice.

One minuet we're talking about percentages/proportions the next we're talking about absolute numbers? Stick to one mate instead of fudging facts to suit your own ,flawed, assessments.

There is not a huge amount in terms of the representative proportion of Sikhs in Pakistan in both cases it is is around 1 in 100 to 1 in 50 citizens.


I mean why have minorities such as Sikhs and Hindus fled Pakistan in their droves? Yoxu could say Muslims in India are under represented in the Indian military but then they are over-represented in the arts industry. But in Pakistan, you can't find minorities in any notable fashion anywhere.

If they did... they did it willingly .. nobody forced them... as for muslims over representing the arts industry? which "Arts industry" is that? labour force? or a few hybrid muslims of bollywood?

And you dont understand rational arguements... india has over 22 million sikhs... Pakistan not even 2 lac? now in a 5+ lac army how many sikhs out of the 2 lac will join... again there are issues with the community coz of which it was more or less a tabbo to join the armed forced.. Capt Haricharan Singh broke it... and soon many will follow n many are... including his brother..Also the community is more into businesses,trading,agriculture etc..

This thread proves the fact that Pakistan is the only safe place left for any minorities, in fact a minority heaven!

That in Defence.pk's existence of 8 years with thousands of members, we are yet to see a single non-mulsim member from Pakistan is, but a matter of chance.

So of course, Gold Medal for minority safety goes to...
