Srinagar, Aug 29: While condemning the use of force on protesters, ‘Sikh Intellectuals Circle’ Monday said that Sikh community supports the ‘Right to Self Determination’ for Jammu and Kashmir.
Representatives of a number of Sikh organizations staged a peaceful protest here in Press Enclave Srinagar and expressed their support to the ongoing Freedom Struggle in Kashmir. The protest was led by a Sikh leader Narinder Singh Khalsa.

The protesters expressed solidarity with the indigenous Kashmir Movement and pitched for the solution of Kashmir issue through political dialogue. Narnder Singh Khalsa said that Sikh community fully endorses the peaceful political protest program being initiated by the joint resistance leadership of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik and others. He said that mass uprising in Kashmir can’t be suppressed with the excessive use of force.

While condemning the killing spree in Kashmir, excessive use of pellet guns, ransacking of houses by government forces, Narender Singh Khalsa appealed the world community, UN and Human Rights organizations to take serious note of ‘state sponsored brutality’ against protesters. He also strongly condemned the desecration of ‘Gurudwara Sahib’ in Anantnag district by security forces and also appealed the Sikh community worldwide to render all sorts of humanitarian help and moral support to the people of Jammu and Kashmir at this critical juncture.

“Non-resolution of J&K dispute is the real cause of the entire unrest, so there is a need to understand the anguish and distress of people and not dismiss it by claiming that it’s entirely Pakistan sponsored or 5% people are hijacking the Kashmir issue,” he said.

Many Sikh organizations who were part of the protest included Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar, International Sikh Federation and Sikh Students Federation. (CNS)

The movement for independence by Sikh , is also quite prominent issue as many Sikh are living overseas being forced out of India due to operation against their religious places

We support the freedom of Sikh community from India's oppression

Obviously Sikh are not hindus they now also request their own state

Historic fact:
took over few areas by force during partition

a) Hyderabad state (Large territory that demanded independent country)
b) Kashmir (The people requested vote rights and merger with Pakistan)
c) Goa

Majority of Punjab states were taken by India (Again same tactic drop military take take take)

Indian , took a Princely state , with out asking the people their "WILL" by democratic process

Same tactical move

  • Hyderabad (By force & Communal violence spread in region)
  • Kashmir (Dropped in military did not bothered to ask the people for vote)
  • Goa (attacked European country Portugal)
That is how things work it is called referendum or vote for change get on with Democracy it is 2016

Never belonged to India as it is land that belongs to Kashmir residents who never had a chance to give their opinion

Same happened with Punjab state areas which Khalistan needs

Indian forces attacked a old independent state which had peaceful ties with britian
in 1948 (Operation POLO) A state that lived peacefully with British Raj by virtue of peaceful treaties

Simialrly it attacked Kashmir in 1947 , under desire to grow due to Military power
that is why Kashmiri people have rejected Indian (Politician and Military)

This aggression is still happening today 2016 in Kashmir , and against Sikh

Now Kashmir was a stright forward , vote for freedom , instead Indians dropped in their military
and strarted the freedom movement while Indians claimed British were always against their freedom
