Sidhu stirs new controversy, prefers Pakistan over South India

Jinnah was incorruptible and brave. So what ? Is that the only values worth having in a human being ?

Hitler was incorruptible and brave too.

That should tell you the true worth of those values.

Glad that you too admit that Jinnah was incorruptible and brave
That was in response to your post where you tried to imply that he would do anything for money
Incorruptible and brave people do not do that

.
You said exactly what I said except for the word Rubbish. :enjoy:

Nope, you claimed Jinnah was part of the congress when he clearly was NOT.

He was the head of the Muslim League by then and only had a uneasy and opportunistic political alliance with them.

. .
IML and Hindu Mahasabha were created by British to divide Indian resistance movement started by Congress.

Congress did not fall for this and opposed it tooth and nail.

You can check again. Jinnah was part of congress until 1920 even though he was leading IML.

I do not know if Jinnah was incorruptible and brave. Usually successful lawyers are.

He did steal his "friends" minor daughter and elope with her and marry her against her parents wishes. So I am not sure what your definition of Incorruptible is.

Also incorruptible and brave people would have no problem having the worst of humans as their clients and would fight to save them as long as they are getting paid. I fail to see the connection.

IML and Hindu Mahasabha were created by British to divide India resistance movement started by Congress.

Congress did not fall for this and opposed it tooth and nail.

Again PROVE YOUR POINT that Hindu Mahasabha was created by the British. Hindu Mahasabha was ALWAYS AGAINST the British.

OTOH , CONgress was working WITH the british for most part. Congress was CREATED BY THE BRITISH. It's only in 1929 they demanded Poorna swaraj. Before that they supported the British.

You can check again. Jinnah was part of congress until 1920 even though he was leading IML.

That is like claiming Rahul Gandhi is part of the BJP even though he is president of the CONgress party.

What kind of an idiot makes such a claim ?

So predictable !! Every time you guys run out of arguments you try to attack Jinnah's personal life !!

JFYI, Jinnah did not elope with any minor girl. Get your facts straight

.
No, ISI has better things to do .. you can kill your own people all you want by painting them ISI agents or Gaddars

Everybody loves Sidhu

BJP & Akhalis love him as he does a self goal for Congress everytime without fail.

Rahul loves him as he can pull the rug under Captain Amrinder Singh.

Captain Amrinder Singh loves him as he can blame Sidhu and start his own party by quitting Congress.

Its not an "attack", I am just stating facts.

Jinnah was 40 and Ruttie was 15, and that was when he asked to marry her. He was clearly having some kind of relationship with her before that.

Fact:

Jinnah approached Sir Dinshaw(Father of Rattanbai) with a seemingly abstract question about his views on inter-communal marriages. Sir Dinshaw emphatically expressed his opinion that it would be an ideal solution to inter-communal antagonism. Jinnah could not have hoped for a more favourable response, and immediately asked his friend for his daughter's hand in marriage.

M. C. Chagla, who was assisting Jinnah at his chambers in those days, recalled later, "Sir Dinshaw was taken aback. He had not realized that his remarks might have serious personal repercussions. He was most indignant, and refused to countenance any such idea which appeared to him absurd and fantastic."

Jinnah pleaded his case, but to no avail. Not only was this the end of the friendship between the two men, but Sir Dinshaw forbade Ruttie to meet Jinnah as long as she lived under his roof. As she was still a minor, the law was on his side, so Ruttie and Jinnah decided to wait out the two years until she attained the age of maturity.

No eloping, nothing like that.
And as for what "you" believe was "clearly going on" tells us more about you and your thinking than the person in question

Yes. In the initial years Congress did not fight for Independence. They only fought for representation of the Indians.

Both IML and Hindu Mahasabha were created by the British to weaken Congress' demand.

That is like claiming Rahul Gandhi is part of the BJP even though he is president of the CONgress party.

What kind of an idiot makes such a claim ?

It may sound idiotic but that was the fact. There was reason why congress did not agree to reservations. Congress all along knew it was British's ploy to divide the movement through right wing politics of IML & Hindu Mahasabha.

ok, so he did not elope. Still that does not make him incorruptible in my books. Maybe in your books.

Pushtuns in KPK who speak Pashto feel at home when they visit Southern Afghanistan than when they visit Lahore. Why is it so hard to understand and accept? :D

Pakistan has got biggest population of Pakhtoons anywhere in the world. Hell, karachi got more Pakhtoons then Kabul! Lol. What are you on about kid? There is nothing like home, and Pakistan is home.

Unless you can PROVE that Hindu Mahasabha was created by the british, no one is going to take your seriously.

Feel free to prove your own claim, staring NOW.

Under the Lucknow pact, Congress did agree to reservation, so what the hell are you talking about ?

Muslim League worked with the british to implement separate electorate for the Muslim. Congress after the Lucknow Pact, agreed to it.

Hindu Mahasabha OTOH strongly opposed it.

Just wondering what any father, be it a hindu or muslim would do if his 40 year old friend want's to marry his 15 year old daughter.
I wonder how out the blue the 40 year old would get the idea to marry a 15 year old child.
And more strangely how couple of years down the line at the age of 18, when the girl becomes a major, they both indeed get together - must be some coincidence I guess.

I wonder how many men in this forum are ok with their 18 year old daughter marrying their 45 year old friends & still pretend nothing was going on before that between the two.

I wonder how many fathers of girl child here would use the correct terminology to describe a person who want's to marry little girls at the ripe age of 40 + years.

IML and Hindu Mahasabha were created by British to divide Indian resistance movement started by Congress.

Ironically, Jinnah and Muslim league were ready to give up the idea of Pakistan as late as 1946 ... But the Congress rejected the Cabinet Mission Proposals and opted for Partition but still Muslim League gets all the blame!!

Congress was equally (if not more) responsible for the partition ... Jinnah was ready to give up his demand of a separate Muslim homeland as late as 1946 when he accepted the Cabinet Mission Plan, Congress rejected the plan which promised united India

In words of Maulana Azad:

" Looking back after ten years, I concede that there was force in what Mr.Jinnah said. The Congress and the League were both parties to the agreement, and it was on the basis of distribution among the center, the provinces and the groups that the League had accepted the plan. Congress was neither wise nor right in raising doubts. It should have accepted the Plan unequivocally if it stood for the unity of India. Vacillation would give Mr.Jinnah the opportunity to divide India."
