Save Pakistan Give solutions

sir

Why look so far away, when u can see best example from your neighbor. As our problems, terrine, people are some what similar.

We can learn from each others experience.

In my opinion we can at least have cooperation in Education. Despite of our misunderstandings, misconceptions etc.

National Institute of Open Schooling

It has a current enrollment of about 1.5 million students at Secondary and Senior Secondary levels which makes it the largest open schooling system in the world.

I must acknowledge that your business school (forgot the name) has no match with ANY institution in Pakistan. I have also heard that you guys have your own education system.

I sometimes volunteer for Liberals and I am a productive individual.

No.
Pick those children from traffic light and force them to get education (proper education)

Volunteer for Liberals?

Force them ? its hard enough to get them to come back let alone force them. Very few stay and see 2 weeks. I think I will understand your point of view when you let me know how long have you stayed in Canada or Pakistan.

I have spent 16 years in Pakistan.

Liberal party of Canada, to be more precise.

When there is an educational environment rather than palao or gol gapa..everyone will come to education.

Read about "nurture" regarding kids on the streetlights.

There are many Canadians enrolled in business programs who go to China or India for internships and so on.
However, Pakistan should move forward but do not take me wrong here..

India is a threat to us. She always back stabbed us in the past.
;)

Now do not derail this thread.

I don't believe in Aman ki asha thing..
I believe in solid state to state dialogues first.

We have one of the world's best "ISB".

The Indian School of Business is ranked 12 among the top 100 global B-schools, as per the Financial Times annual MBA 2010 rankings.

But our IIM are equally good, its just that the ratings don't count the MBA degrees where the admission is given to students without job experience.

And our IIT's engineering degree is a passport to biggest Universities or companies in the world.

What we India - Pakistan need is cooperation in education. It will be quite beneficial.

and you will make that happen? I would love to hear a better implementation of your proposed plan from you. How about we start by the buying of said land by the government to make a school that is free of cost to any student that wants to get basic education. Lets not get ahead of ourselves .. Lets for arguments sake there is such a school that provides the set facility to underpriveledged children free of cost and it is properly staffed to educate 200 students. How many do you think will leave the sidewalk and their meager paying job's and attend that school? If your answer is "all that our interested or are forced", then I will salute your optimism and beg my leave. Ground realities.

The title of my thread was Save Pakistan Give solutions.
I never said that I will present my plan. Now go to the first page and read when I said solutions which are practical.
I am not that optimistic..If 200 kids are enrolled and lets say 10 are left. In my opinion we still won..Why? Because those 10 people on streets are now in school. You cannot make an empire state building from the top..you have to start from the bottom..
Today 10 and tomorrow 20..
Things will move!

Force everyone to come to school. Today, 190 people will leave the school because of the influence of their surroundings. Tomorrow 180 people will leave and so on.

I said to you before...

Read about "nurture" and compare the effects on kids.

The things you mentioned above are true to some extent but this will only happen if
A) We get rid of current politicians and corrupt generals.
B) People of Pakistan get more practical rather than sitting on the chair and criticizing.

Both your ideas are very good, but please do not stop there.
As someone else on this forum has very precisely said:
EDUCATION
It will seem to be a time consuming method, but the results will be lasting.
Pakistan's biggest enemy is not India; but lack of education and lack of employment opportunities for its young people.

Young people in any country are better off, living productive lives than becoming cannon fodder at the whims of religious, political or military leaders!

.
How much does an F16 cost and how much will that school cost to operate an year. Thats practicle. Whos going to make the choice between the F16 and that school? Proposing solutions for others to follow is hard.

Yes, did you read my reply?

Yes.
Education is a strong base for anything. However, our government (any) could not provide us with quality education. Instead of overcoming the problem, we came up with an ingenious solution :-)angry:) to open private schools. Now the class difference started. Poor people went to government schools while rich went to good schools. Instead of improving home made education system, we went to the U.K. to get theres. Our home made educational system is outdated but it can be fixed.
So, we do not only ask for aids...we also borrow educational system.

Open community schools (home schools) like in the U.S. or Canada.

Okay sir. You are entitled to your views and I am to my views.

Whats the total population of Pakistan? How many of them are 6-13? How many of them are not enrolled in a school or are illiterate? How many of the proposed schools will be needed to make education compulsory? How much will it cost? Unfortunately my views are based on ground realities.

Sorry if my question sounds stupid but what does education system does pakistan follow? Don't you guys have your own system??

.
I think the younger generation of Pakistan who is more educated now should take the pledge and if possible join the politics and flush the impurities out or if you already have good leaders select them...this will have a immediate effect. This also implies for India.
Second and the most important is education...we all know how it will benefit thoigh it take s a longr time to show the reasults but surely will help Pakistan to emerge as a powerful nation..you can take China and India for example.

We have our own outdated education system which is called Matriculation. Generally, people who can afford prefer to do British education system which is called GCSE or O and A levels.

So, you mean education should not be our first priority or forced education is not the solution?

In Canada, kids have to be in schools until they are 18.
