Sometimes, I become so frustrated about the situation in Pakistan that I say "Yaar mien Pakistani na hi hotay. Us ka baray mien soch ker tension kiun leta hoon. Jo hona ho gay wo ho jai ga."

Seriously, it is my love for the country that I get frustrated but sometimes I think that it would have been better if I was a Canadian.

every one must love his nation... whether good or bad ,developed or undeveloped, rich or poor ... after all its your own nation... dont be ever shame on your nation... whatever the situation is.... just hating your nation is not going to help your nation..

I am not in complex to be a Pakistani man..
Depression makes me to do struggle. So, when I am depressed about my country.. I wanna come up with different solutions.

I think democracy comes in Pakistan when there are liberals in power and Dictators when conservative are in Power in US.

Yes, the above conclusion also states that generals are bigger beggars than politicians but in corruption, politicians are sky rocketing.

Education is a strong base for anything. However, our government (any) could not provide us with quality education. Instead of overcoming the problem, we came up with an ingenious solution angry to open private schools. Now the class difference started. Poor people went to government schools while rich went to good schools. Instead of improving home made education system, we went to the U.K. to get theres. Our home made educational system is outdated but it can be fixed.
So, we do not only ask for aids...we also borrow educational system.

Open community schools (home schools) like in the U.S. or Canada.

Money is nothing compared to will. In our society, we (people) blame government for our problems knowing the fact that they are incompetent and government blame their problems to the previous ones and the previous ones blame their problems to their previous ones and the system goes on. At the end, we blame other countries for our problems. Well, other countries are involved in games but we should block them by having a strong economy.

Strong defence will make us a beggar but strong economy will make our defence stronger.

There are simple ways education can be provided. A person does not need to know algebra or need to learn how to perform open heart surgery to be a productive member of society. 2 cabins used to pick up children from the trafic lights giving food and 50Rs a day to teach. Teaching them how to learn and understand things and providing basic "Shaoor". No math or English. Just ways on how to be human. Total cost to operate 3 times a week for around 40 children came to around Rs16000 - 18000. Dealing with the mafia that operate these children and the religious parties that got involved and the police - priceless. So once again, we are back on the boat where people talk and discuss what solutions can discussed for the sake of discussing. Get out there on the trans canada highway and look around you, what part of Pakistan you miss the most. Then I will read about it like the other beatiful stories previously posted about corrupt generals and useless politcians and how we need to kill them.

Why look so far away, when u can see best example from your neighbor. As our problems, terrine, people are some what similar.

We can learn from each others experience.

In my opinion we can at least have cooperation in Education. Despite of our misunderstandings, misconceptions etc.
