Saudi Arabia seeks Pakistan's cooperation for NATO-like military alliance

Proof that this so called alliance is geared specifically toward Iran, and they want Pakistan's military to provide the muscle.

I don't see why Pakistan should join such an alliance. Why antagonize Iran and for what gain, pushing them into India's arms? Gulf states aren't going sacrifice their relations with India or back Pakistan Kashmir.
Gulf States, Iran and practically 99% of the Muslim world already backs Pakistan's stance on Kashmir.

Also - Gulf States have always supported us; they supported us in all wars except 1999 (which wasnt really a war) ; they promised us 80,000 barrels of oil a day if sanctions were placed and were the only countries to support Pakistan's nuclear program and even had nation-wide celebrations during our nuclear tests.

If they are 30+ Arab air forces it sure can. Outside of the Israeli and Iranian militaries, all militaries in that region are utterly toothless and the proffesional military of India would slice through them like a hot knife through butter.

But this entire idea is flawed, the Arabs will never bleed on behalf of Pakistan.
People tend to under-estimate the Arab military power - but forget alot has changed. Indian military and 'professionalism' doesnt mix; especially when their Navy has turf wars with the Coast Guards, half of their army doesnt even have helmets or bullet proof vests, and their Airforce loses a squadron a year to crashes. First get on Bangladesh's level before you compare your self to Arab countries.

Arabs and other Muslim countries have always offered to provide support militarily but Pakistan only request logistic support. In 1971 alone Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iran sent squadrons of F-104s, F-86s and F-5s. Military supplies poured into Pakistan from the gulf countries and Iran.

In 1965 Indonesia, Iran, Turkey and Saudi Arabia provided 6 naval vessels, jet fuel, guns and ammunition, and financial support. Indonesia also offered Pakistan to invade the Nicobar and Andaman Islands to divert Indian attention.

And to add to that, THEY HAVE SHED THEIR BLOOD FOR US

yes we did. we even give Independence War award to the ex-pakistani soldiers and the highest honor Adipura to Mohammad Ali Jinnah. it's very possible to form alliance to counter india at that time, as indonesia still percieves india as a threat. well, chance is wasted anyway though.

We had horrible leadership at that time; but there is still time for an alliance.

Why doesn't Saudi Arabia lead it itself?

Oh that's right, their multi billion dollar army can't lead itself out of a paper bag.

Oh I am sleeping alright. Its you who is falling in line to the House of Saud. First the Americans. Now the Saudis. Always master slave relationship. Hope they paid you enough for it.
Nice to here that you are able to sleep well...
Unfortunately this Statement is going to give you and your friends sleepless nights....

Ben Gurion on Pakistan, published in the Jewish Chronicle, 1967:

"The world Zionist movement should not be neglectful of the dangers of Pakistan to it. And Pakistan now should be its first target, for this ideological State is a threat to our existence. And Pakistan, the whole of it, hates the Jews and loves the Arabs.

"This lover of the Arabs is more dangerous to us than the Arabs themselves. For that matter, it is most essential for the world Zionism that it should now take immediate steps against Pakistan."

Interesting ..............I salute Gurion who assess the Pakistani capability in early ages of creation. But, yes , now Pakistan is nuclear power. And Israel test Pakistani pilots in Arab-Israel war.

You must be an expert on slave-master relationship being a representative of a nation and a religious group which has the longest history in the world of domination and subjugation by others. Also you contradict yourself in same sentence, slaves don't get paid. What's wrong with working as mercenaries for the Saudis? Maybe one day we will take over Saudi Arabia. It has been done many time before. Obviously you have not read history. Read about the Mamelukes or close to home the Slave dynasty of Delhi or even the British in India. Once day one when you pull your head out of your a$$ and smell the roses, you'll realize that how your prejudice and pitiness as well as the ingrained inferiority complex has eaten away your objectivity and intellectual honesty. If you don't want to be abused like this be more respectful on this forum.

This has nothing to do with ummah, it is just another way to keep al saud's monarchy intact. Muslims from other countries will waste their blood fighting stupid wars of Al saud.

.
Good Idea. Even if it is just on paper.
But if it becomes a reality, we shuld keep in mind that no matter what "Sab Say Pehlay Pakistan"

We are glad and thankful for your support, long may cooperation continue between our two wonderful nations.

It is the need of the hour. To defeat the west sponsored terrorists and also keeping the western powers at bay, such an organisation is essential
