Sorry to disagree with you. I had the pleasure of attending to the Grand Mufti of Bosnia during the war when he came to USA. He said that Bogomils (Bosnian Muslims) had started to convert before conquest by Ottomans. It was Sufi influence and the aversion of conflict between Catholic and Orthodox Christians that nudged Bogomils to Islam.

Yeah, I've read similar things about marauding Turkic tribes too. There are historical records about Peçeneks migrated to modern-day Hungary converting to Islam. However, without Turkish conquests, there won't be that much Muslims in Balkans.

Even before the Ottoman conquests, Turkish Alps migrated to Bosnia and various other European countries tried to spread Islam.

South Asians were converted by Muslim missionaries who passed through Persia, that is why Sufism was the dominant form of Islam in the Indian subcontinent until quite recently. I do agree about the Turks spreading Islam to China and Europe that is 100% accurate.

Good, then don't compare a mouse with a elephant next time. It was Arab sailors who spread Islam to South Asia and Central Asia. China as well and all those areas I mentioned before. The first mosques built in those countries were built by Arabs. Why do you think that millions of South Asians, South East Asians and Africans have Arab ancestry and that they were ruled until recently by families of Arab descent And why those families to this very day are respected all over the Muslim world?

So it's really simple and common knowledge.
