Sami rejects law against forced conversion of religion

I hate these shitty media outlets spreading disinformation to get more views.

Forced conversations universally is and has always been illegal...

What Sami rejects is the law banning religious conversion for minors - this has nothing to do with 'forced conversations'.

New law was passed that banned minors being able to convert to different religions.

Hazrat Ali RA was kid when he accepted Islam. Sindh govt is corrupt and unislamic

s.

thats showing his and his alikes draconian , tribal, medevil mind set who wish to impose his way on underaged children

Billo baby Sindh ein Bhutto and Zardari hay lagta hay Punjab mein entry kay Liye Chaudry and Butt bhi ban jaye ga :D

""baby bilo bhuto's butt ""

One way or the other, everyone imposes his own way on underage children. We only tend to dislike it when it is not according to our own choice. PS Maulana did not imposed anything, he merely shared his opinion which is a fundamental right in democracy.

i did not talk about forced conversions, the problem is the age limit
seriously why are you so anti islam?
im not the first one to point out the problem is the age limit yet still you wait no time to bash islam

They are obviously as great scholars of Islam as you are.
I'm sure they are miles and miles better. So are you, I guess.

The "no compulsion in religion" quote was not pulled out until I commented. I therefore surmise its purpose was to shut me down, not contest the mullahs. So Pakistani Muslims here already accept that this part of the Qu'ran doesn't apply, not in the meaning it was waved at me for, anyway.

Sindh's population is largely tolerant so it's actually the other way around such zombies are minority in Sindh , they are trying every thing in the book "killing minorities civilians etc etc " to gain influence but no one votes for them only way for them to make there presence felt is they talk garbage

you seem to believe all the propaganda spewed by seculars
sami has never said anything regarding killing minorities, thats just you being biased against anyone who speaks to promote Islam
look at kpk,the people there stick very close to Islam and yet they have the least corrupt province and with the least problems
and its the exact opposite with sindh
so much for your tolerance huh?

be specific and give an example least to make your point btw the members post i quoted you can go back and see he said its propaganda and molana is against " law banning religious conversion for minors - this has nothing to do with 'forced conversations'.

I know just one thing, either U may be 1 or 100 years old, if U are not Muslim, neither can anyone force you to accept Islam, nor can anyone stop U from practicing your religion as its clear in Islam that:

"Allah has explicitly prohibited coercing people to accept religion saying: “there is no compulsion in religion” (from 2.256)."

http://www.quranicstudies.com/jihad/the-prohibition-of-forcing-people-into-islam/

And many more:

https://quran.com/2/256

So whosoever say something against the orders given above are themselves doing an act of rebellion against the principles of Islam and that is very clear.

well in Islam every child is a muslim until he reaches the age of maturity when he has to decide what to follow
this specifically is what the prophet (PBUH) said "Each child is born in a state of "Fitrah", then his parents make him a Jew, Christian or a Zoroastrian, the way an animal gives birth to a normal offspring. Have you noticed any that were born mutilated?"

so please tell me if what the maulana is saying is wrong?
you just love spouting anti Islam propaganda don't you?

instead of crying tolerance why don't you actually back up your arguments with Quran and hadith?
do you actually think being secular will make you a better muslim?
will you say to Allah too that you were the champion of tolerance, which is based on western morals on the day of judgement?

The JUI-S leader urged religious, political parties and the social media to raise voice against the ‘un-Islamic’ law. He said the decision to fix an age limit for conversion to Islam is based on ignorance.

... He said Islam does not allow forced conversion...
