You need to understand that geopolitics is not subservient to geo-economics. There was a time when people use to think the geo-economy is ruling supreme, by they were proved wrong.

So while you can grow economically, which under the current environment, may take much longer than you guys think, if at all, yet the geopolitical clout may not be there to support you beyond a certain stage.

You people need to understand this fact. And I am not the only one who is saying this - many key American geopolitical analysts are also saying the same thing.

oh yes. How about RUSSIA-CHINA-INDIA axis
Given facts
1. India-Russia on best terms from more than half century
2. USA being common enemy of Russia and China and Indian neutral or non allied approach to US
3. China's need to tackle US presence in its back yard and close any possible clash with India in Himalayin boarder
4. India and China willing to cooperate and walking out all existing issues
5. Pakistan being on No question terms with China settles all disputes with India

It look good in theory. But will it be possible ??? I would say yes but it will never
Russia will never trust China and Pak will not settle with India

sir, there can be friendship in between to nations at general public level but core of it is just business and mutual interests when you talk at cooperate level or political level and these are key figures and Representatives, exchange of cultures support the understanding for better relations but that should not be mistaken for like yari dosti like we common people have with each other, it is just progress towards common interests backed by businesses

I am not saying you guys don't have good friendship with Russians, maybe common russian prefer indians way more then us , I am just trying to explain that at bigger level it's just common interests that matters.

We have political, economical, cultural, scientific and defence relationships. ( countless examples can be provided).

Its just that all the news posted here is on defence since this is a defence forum, its not ur fault to assume the relationship is pure business.
