Russia rules out arms sale to Pakistan

They did that in past.... They armed both countries. India should not object.... If they give weapons to China than china will copy and use against them.... If they give weapon to pakistan than money problem will arrive.... Pakistan wont pay and russia cant ask for more money from pakistan like they doing with india.... Russia knows it. India should let them do what they want to do.... Every country has a right to protect itself.... India should not tell russia what to do or russia will keep asking for more money from india....

you also can't deny their incalculable help in India coming up with the 85MW nuclear reactor in arihant. You also can't deny they giving us Akula-II.

What is more important than terming one as enemy or friend is take full advantage of present scenario and prepare contingencies for future.

MMRCA deal is the bitter taste that wont go for russia and uk.... Both of them just cant let go.... Russia just trying to poke india.... They trying to check india's reaction. All am trying to say is how long india will stop russia not to sell weapons to countries india dont like? India cant hold long.... Only people with no knowledge about geo-politics would be stupid enough to believe that Russia will arms to Pakistan.

India is one of the largest arms purchasers in the world. With its growing rivalry with China, India's defensive needs will only rise and USA, Europe, Israel and Russia are all eager to sell it arms.

Why the hell would Russia jeopardize its strategic relations with India by selling arms to Pakistan?

India can easily go to USA, Israel and Europe to purchase more weapons.

Lets face it. The only country willing to sell us arms is China and thats not due to the fact that China loves Pakistan but because China uses Pakistan as leverage against its regional rival in India.

USA sells us weapons because its needs our help in War on Terrorism, but after 2014, even that pipeline will dry up when US and NATO withdraws from Afghanistan.

Pakistan in the coming decade will be heavily outgunned by India and that is a fact that Pakistan has to live with.

Hopefully this will knock some sense into these Army Generals who hopefully will pursue friendlier relations with India rather than hostile ones.

no dear.. as far as MMRCA is concerned, all models except mig35 were operational models. ofc India wanted the most upgraded ones. Also, everything is not about defense deals.

We have billions of dollars worth of nuclear deals with Russia. We also have T5o project worth billions. Then we have the brahmos project and SSBN project etc..

They are seasoned strtegists not interweb arm chair generals.. they would have obviously thought of all these things before even considering India in US lap..

I dont know what the Pakistani govt/army wants..but here on PDF..Pakistanis were speculating SAMs and ships..
