Regional power confronts China over East Sea

In the next future it could be a war zone,but in the far future,it would be definitly China's,no one can stop that ,maybe can only delay it a couple of years,just like the fact that no one in this world can stop rise of China,so we can leave this matter unsovled for 2 more decades,and we will see them again in 20 years.

thats wat i m trying to say chinese rise based on complete invasion of scs rather than a peace treaty and sharing resources is the worst policy decision ,u guys are looking for forcefull annexation of islands in those areas which bring other countries.

the attack on scs will become a cause for us and all along nato in that area which has already declared that 60 % of their naval strength will be in asia-pacific region. china cannot afford a war with usa along with nato bec. of economic restraits and countries like india and russia has interest in scs resources as well , thus can be considered nuetral.

so yes ur right it may delay but that delay would be of decades.

then you come to other seas and SEEK other COUNTRIES approval for any exploration of resources. So for any movement you make in any seas you will need permission of the country in control of that AREA and give them huge amounts of money. Simple point is there will be NO INTERNATIONAL SEE for China in whole world. (but will be there for rest of world). Chinese will be shunned from any seas.

China's rise cannot be at the expense of Interests of so many major powers India, Japan, Russia, US, NATO and others. It will either act in cooperation of these world powers or be forcefully removed from the equation.

The South China Sea is a vital economic transit way for everyone in Asia, from durable goods to energy sources like LNG to crude oil. If our allies are economically choked off by China, and they will if China is not challenged, then the US will suffer the consequences as well. Perhaps not as great but it is China's plan to severely curtail or even economically collapse some countries for China's long term benefits.

I'm done with the neocons talking about all these perceived threats all over the world. America need to take care itself first before worry about others. If other countries have territorial dispute, let them work it out. If China block sea lanes, than we will deal with it. But lets not make up all these imaginary offenses from other and shape our policies base on these imaginations. The first thing we need to do is to cut spending. switching focus in the Pacific region doesnt mean having a war,and China solemnly guarranteed free navigation routes of SCS,that's China's core interest and US won't take risks of having a full scale war with China,not in the past,no at present,and very less likely in the future after China overtake US and becomes the top gun in the world.
