Rafale to give India edge over China, Pakistan: IAF chief Bhadauria

.
Rafale = very good aircraft. Yes.

When coupled with the cutting-edge Meteor BVRAAM, a squadron of Rafale jets might have no peer in the region in purely technical terms for a while.

However, quality of men, is an important consideration as well. India does not produce good pilots and tacticians on average.

It remains to be seen if Rafale squadrons will compensate for Indian incompetence in aerial engagements.
Two questions for you respected fellow.

1) Why in Pakistan we always assume Indian pilots to be inferior? If one thinks objectively, this assumption has no solid basis. Let's forget past encounters between both airforces where the only time we outperformed Indians was 1965 and it must be admitted that in addition to capable men, we had marginally better aircrafts at our disposal too. So forgetting the ancient past, why wouldn't India produce equally capable or better pilots when they produce better sportsmen, scientists, docs and engineers than us? Their TACDE graduates are damn good pilots, atleast equal in terms of capability as compared to our viper pilots and certainly more in number. I believe that PAF pilots are automatically superior is a national myth which we have come to believe. There is no logical basis for believing that and we might be upto a rude awakening in case of a next extensive air battle. That is my humble opinion.

2) How does PL-15 stand as compared to Meteor? Is there any documented data to support one's superiority over the other?

SU 30 MKI in the hands of Indian pilots could track and lock on 5th gen fighters such as J-20.

Now that they got their blessed hands on the Rafales, I am sure they can search and track ET.

Talk about delusional, pee brain with zero self respect speaking on behalf of the whole nation, how exactly did you come up with this Gem?

Meteor has better range than compared PL-15 but some Chinese suggest PL-15 is much better than PL-12 due to new software managing its energy and all missiles, planes, and battlespace instruments are communicating and optimize how to manage weapon resources more effectively. PL-15 is more smart than PL-12 which is last generation's air missile and can just do as it's usual programming. PL-15 is more flexible. Meteor we don't know but should be similar with better range and energy than PL-15. Some ramjet types based on PL-15 are also exist to exceed performance of Meteor. PL-15 is for cheaper mass production for whole airforce to use. In war, must manufacture thousands quickly and this type rocket motor is cheaper than ramjet.

Su-30 cannot track J-20 at such long ranges. Total bullshit from media. But within 50km very likely it can locate J-20 from many angles and red heat also can track in that range. J-20's best stealth is electronic energy not just skin paint and shaping. Don't think of SPECTRA type jamming or Gripen even though it works similar in principle. Analyzing and returning particular signals. If J-20 only manage F-117 era stealth using only paint deep RAM and shaping, PLAAF has failed totally and cannot hope to be stealth against American or even Japanese/Russian observation.

Pakistan in a way is lucky to have an enemy like India... if you consider, they are quite predictable, stupid and persistently low brain material. Receive their statements and clap them for they occupying these important positions.
Don't insult your enemy. Always praise them so they stay cozy and work even less.

NEW DELHI: Rafale jets will greatly enhance the capabilities of the Indian Air Force (IAF) and will give it an edge over Pakistan and China, new IAF chief Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria said on Monday.

"Rafale is a very capable aircraft, once we induct it, it will be a gamechanger in terms of our operational capability and when we use it in combination with SU-30 and other fleets which we have, we would have a serious jump in our capability. It will give us an edge over Pakistan and China," Bhadauria told ANI soon after taking over as the 26th chief of the force.

Incidentally, Bhadauria was the chairman of the Indian negotiation team for the Rs 60,000 crore 36 Rafale combat aircraft deal and played a significant role in getting deal cleared. The Rafale deal signed in 2016 is the biggest ever defence deal signed by India.

The first Rafale aircraft to be inducted by defence minister Rajnath Singh in France will also have the tail number RB-01 written on it in recognition of the role played by the officer in it.

Earlier, Bhadauria visited the National War Memorial to pay his tributes soon after taking charge as the IAF chief today.

"It is a matter of great honour for me to take over the charge of the IAF, which is one of the finest air forces in the world," he said.

Speaking about the Balakot air strikes carried out earlier this year by the IAF, Bhadauria said that the force was prepared for action and, "We were prepared then (before the Balakot air strikes) and many of the acquisitions were part of the plan but we were able to expedite it and we will be ready for any challenges in the future too."

What about mini AWACS SU-30  after getting shot down ...now they are upto humiliate Rafale as well

@Windjammer @Bratva see another proof...nobody in Indian no more talking about mighty Su-30.

Bharat ko aik naya choru mubarak ho

Edge over Pakistan - Yes, OK. Agree (and this is only till the new items are inducted).

Edge over China - ?? ---- Chinese have J-20 and hypersonic missiles. They will bomb every inch of Indian air bases before that Rafale can even take off.
