Well exact number would be hard to tell but there are areas within Delhi which are flooded with illegal Bangladeshi migrants which are generally engaged with jobs as that of maid and cook in houses.

I can say this because I have seen it on my own.

saad - they are everywhere man - they keep a hindu name to disguise themselves , most of the domestic help you get - which work for meager 20-25 $ a month , is bangladesi .

even the yamuna pusta slum, whole place is occupied by these bangladesi who - project themselves to be bangali or bihari.

the beggers you see on the red lights every now n then most of them are bangladesi.

the exact number is almost impossible to tell, but i think it will be in excess of millions.

NEW DELHI: More than one crore Bangladeshi nationals are illegally staying in India and they are in a position to influence electoral outcome in 25 Parliamentary and 125 Assembly constitutencies, according to a TV report, reports PTI.

Continued and unchecked infiltration has changed the demographic profile of large parts of Assam, Bihar, West Bengal and even Delhi and Mumbai, ZEE TV said in a new programme "Inside Story."

If infiltration continues unchecked, in next ten years they may be in a position to impact about 50 Parliamentary and over 250 Assembly seats in the country, the channel said in a press release.

The border district of Kishanganj in Bihar had 30 per cent Bangladeshis in 1970 and today their percentage had gone up to 65, it said.

More than 40 lakh Bangladeshis are illegally living in Bihar, mostly in Kishanganj, Araria, Katihar, Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Purnia and Sahebganj.

In Delhi it is estimated that there are about six lakh Bangladeshis living illegally in Seelampur, Yamuna Pushata and Jehangirpuri, it said.

Almost 90% of the Hawkers selling flowers in Delhi are from Bangladesh.

After living in Kolkata for nearly 20yrs one can recognise them by their pronunciation. When spoken in Bangla they will reply theu are from Kolkata and when pressed further they readily admit that they are from Dakha. All of them have taken on fake names, mostly looking at the Hindi Films.

However exact figure will be highly debatable, as the Left Front Govt in Bengal and the Congress Govt in Assam for their Vote Bank have been giving the illegal immigrants Ration Cards and other documents.
