I have such views because every madrasah I have been to I have witnessed the same thing......A 13yrs old kid refused to sit in my house and recite verses of Quran just because there was a picture of My Mother standing in front of Khannye -e Kabah framed and hanged on the wall.....
He raised his voice with my elder brother and justified that how it was forbidden ---- He was simply shown the door, Imam sab simply told to ensure the kid is never to be seen at the door of this house ----- When you go and close down the madrassah he came from, the next thing you will get is armed retaliation ---- so better to kill them in one go----bomb the whole thing down

Any mosque or madrassah found to be harboring terrorists needs to be sealed and strict punishment given to the local police stations under whose jurisdiction the mosque is. Imams and religious scholars with extremist views who do not condemn the killing of innocent people should be stripped of their titles and their institutions banned. There should be no leniency towards any terrorist group and the government needs to act decisively to banish these thoughts from mainstream society.

What happens after this? What are these banned Imams and their followers to do?

As for military courts, what convictions are given that will keep them from turning into the likes of Qari Shakeel(from where this whole debate began anyway.)?How can we guarantee that these men if they end up in prisons may not return an even worse menace to society if a prison break like DI Khan.. or if they are sent to extremist rehab(like a program ran by the PA trying to copy the Saudis..which failed for the Saudis)..they wont be sparked again by another event and return to extremism.

And clearly that attempt to tame ethnic hatred has failed miserably, I get the idea.. 71 was a disaster.. we found out were are NOT a nation. But the reaction of the state that followed had been even more disastrous... and if anything.. the various anti-state movements in Balochistan, Sindh and in KP are any evidence..
