a coup is difficult as the state is fragile in a sense that only politicians can keep integrity intact, and army not strong enough to keep the far fetched parts in control...

This is insignificant... look up the title.

Hardly matters how you have twisted the title.Content is still the same.We are discussing it since morning. What's next ?

Indian army is capable of controlling the whole nation if needed

Indian political system is capable of controlling the Indian army

Indian citizens are capable of controlling the Indian political system

Oh ! Cr@p.. I just defined something in 3 lines which I could have in 3 words

A WORKING DEMOCRACY

:)

these are overlapping concepts, except for the third one, which is nearly a joke.

.
there is a immense struggle between nationalists and fake nationalists, fake nationalists are using nationalism/religion/ethinicty etc etc to plunder india's riches while pretending to be hard core nationalists & the real patriotic nationalist are waking up to the tryranny of fake nationalists as they see through the double games of fake nationalist, patriotic nationalists are a real threat to fake nationalists & vice versa so in future we will further see real consolidation of power among the fakes & patriots, one can only hope the real nationalistic indians prevail....

 You know how his beloved leader leads a life of fear in his own nation calling life as cheap in Pakistan and hence does not want to antagonize the terrorists and become a hero like Salman Taseer. Watch from 1.28 on.
And the views coming from a country that had led almost 36 years of its 65 year existence under a dictatorship. That's like a working week of dictatorship with a weekend of democracy !!!

It's funny these threads keep popping up and it's members from a certain nation each time (I suppose understandable giving the state of their "democracy" and its history), let me make it really clear to you:

India's elite paratroopers meet their match in fog, traffic during mockup

India's paratroopers meet their match in fog, traffic - Rediff.com India News

News from:

13th of MARCH
the 50 Air independent PARA brigade are the QRF of the IA ready to be deployed anywhere in the world at short notice but are deployed in Agra (home of the IAF's PARA school btw) but the Quick reaction/SOAR C-130s are based at Hindon (outskirts of Delhi) so this brigade moving from Agra to Delhi (Hindon) is no surprise and a VERY common occurrence for those who aren't ignorant monkeys looking to jump on a band wagon and create nonsense stories like talk of coups!! Anyone who knows anything about the Indian armed forces would rubbish such news as quickly as they read the headline.

Before "Desi" journalism was a nuisance but now, in this case, it is damn right dangerous in the effect it has on the IA to the common (ignorant) people who could buy into this BS.

I take it as a personal insult when people like you looking to score cheap points attack the military of India when it comes to their proffesionalism. I have close family members serving in the IA and with conversations with him I have gained a fair idea of how he views his service and his institution and I can not down here how much pride he takes in serving for the IA and what high regard he holds the IA in, from his accounts I can gauge that he is not alone in these beliefs and that this is the view of the vast majority in the IA. Now I have VERY close friends who have served in the UK army and whilst I do not doubt their skills as soldiers their attitude toward their service and their army as a whole was markedly different, on the whole the viewed their service as a job and not much more, whilst my cousin and his colleges view their service as paying a debt to their nation and personally guarding their homeland and all she stands for, it is quite touching speaking to him when he talks of this. For anyone to even question the loyalty of these brave, these proud, these few literally sickens me. I have no doubt these men would ather die than take action of this kind against the very institutions they have sworn oaths to defend.

You're mind set may be corrupted because of the state of you're army and you're institutions but don't assume that is the rule and not the clear exception.

.
so you do believe that Army is capable of taking control ?

Honestly speaking Indian Army does not have the guts to take over...Of course that is the good part or advantage of Pak Army...

.
India heads down that slippery slope. When the politicians have well and truly screwed the country it is time for the army to step in......
