Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday telephoned Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to express solidarity and support for Ankara as it faces international pressure over Turkey's ongoing operation against Kurdish forces in Syria.

In my view, Turkey must find a way to resolve the situation in North Eastern Syria, by working with the Syrian Government and bridging the divide between the two entities. When Turkey succeeds in this (if they put a genuine effort into it), then Turkey shall find the Kurds more willing to establish peace between them, the Syrians and the Turks.
