Bro you are still not getting it, you are just stuck with that point of yours, all of us are trying to convince that, aesthetics is complementary. You need to visit a thread (or was it PAKFA thread) where some Chinese passed on remarks about how "RUSTY" the engine looks and you can read through what happened aftermath..

As for the rust part the flight deck is not steel surface but a sort of non-skid coating, and is a sort of rubbery compound with fine gravel mixture, and is chemical, corrosion, fuel and wear resistant.
So what you see is not rust but paint smudged over the deck.

Two types of people will look these snaps -

1- Non defence type - Who cares what they think of defence equipment capability? Moreover, who cares of the opinion of those people who judge by appearance?

2- Defence guys - Gladly they dont go by looks. They go by facts and figures.
