"You funded Talibans which is a cancer in our society and defeated Russia"

Sorry. It was the mujahideen that defeated the Soviets. That includes one hell of a lot of turkomen, Hazaras, uzbeks, and tajiks. Ahmed Masoud ring a bell? Probably not.

Taliban? That one's on the Saudis, U.A.E. and yourselves and only after deciding that ol' Gulbuddin Hekmatyar wasn't the best choice. Funny enough, the word is Hekmatyar and Haqqani carry a considerable continuing cachet within the ISI. Let's hope that's changing, eh?

The taliban bear no direct relationship to the mujahideen and are a product of the Afghan civil war.

What i dont understand is where did the Taliban come from and how the hell they got so much power in Afghanistan?

I personally feel that they are purely a Saudi manifestation implemented by Pakistan amongst others, but Pakistan was used as a front company so to speak to build them up because during the Soviet occupation there were dozens of parties involved. Someone had to move and consolidate power. It was in Pakistan's interest to have a friendly regime otherwise India and other nations would hold influence. Saudi has a big hand in this and where are they now? Trying to screw everyone with oil?

.
An important question here is why Saudi Arabia is not Pakistan's #1 ally in your poll???? Of all those on the list, they should be. That they are not shows some of the problems here. If the rich muslim nations would help in a sincere way the development of the muslim nations not blessed with limitless oil, everyone would be so much better off. And as far as India and China being friends, Balderdash! The USA is a better friend to both of them than they are to each other.

.
America. You are good and truly fcuked without us. It's not even close. It's o.k. that most here are congenitally and myopically blinded to the reality. We understand.

Love us? You hate us but it won't be the Chinese saving your *****. Take that to the bank...along with our money.

Try something real simple. Ask yourselves who buys your manufactured goods, i.e., your best trade partner? China?

Not even close.

Not for nothing, dimwits, but it's Uncle Sam.;):usflag::devil:

wtf you know about us ? keep living in the dream world US and the day will come when theres going to be no US your the biggest example of "IMPRELISM" i remmber countries phillipines,Hawaii, pueto rico and many mores the biggest threat to US it itself and with the Economic situation is getting worst day by day UNCLE SAM WILL FALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL and hit a brick hard and repeatedly they are recuriting soliders rite out of High School in order that they can pay for college and they die everyday

.
China, USA and KSA are equally important allies of Pakistan with each fullfilling their specific role. Regardless what the public sentiment may be we need USA to support us for atleast another decade, more so for her political weight rather than economic support.

China otoh is definitely a true all weather and time tested ally with growing importance and will take over nr. 1 spot as trading partner within a few years.
She's already our largest supplier of military hardware, a trumpcard that US used to have over Pakistan is lost to China.

So basically we desire to break the "Cold War Ally" image with USA and stop her meddling with our internal aswell as foreign affairs and policy. We don't want aid but trade, access to the US market with no political strings attached. In return we offer a lucrative market for US enterprises...the tab is open wide.

We've tried and tested this alliance for six decades and its time to move on...we gained and lost a lot from this and learned from our mistakes. :coffee:

Who is Pakistan's #1 Ally regarding the following factors.

1) Reliability
2) Military relation
3) Economic relation
4) War Support
5) Foreign Investment
6) Engineering and Technical Support
7) And Other Support

1) Reliability China
2) Military relation China
3) Economic relation US-CHINA-KSA
4) War Support China
5) Foreign Investment China
6) Engineering/Technical China
7) And Other Support China-US-Turkey

The US can not be trusted as a long term friend.

Yeah...... but they where outnumbered by the pushtoons fighting the russians.

They where your buddies also until they didnt give you the pipeline deal.

The taliban bear no direct relationship to the mujahideen and are a product of the Afghan civil war.

Mullah omar fought in the jihad against the russians amd the majority of the veterans of the afghan jihad joined the taliban.

.
"wtf you know about us ?"

Go back to Pakistan. You must be without honor to live here amidst us and hate America so. Shame on your narrow greed. You must return, pick up a weapon and march to Afghanistan to meet your grisly fate at the hands of one of those "...soliders [sic] rite out of High School...".

Irhabists like you die everyday there. Join them and at least descend to hell with some dignity. Better than skulking amongst us for a few dollars and trinkets.

Walk the walk, stud.

We'll be waiting.

Thats funny....the only people i see "descending to hell" are the NATO forces.
I thought you guys had wiped the taliban out........how wrong you where.

The US should stick to invading one of those little central american countries or one of those tiny islands of your southern coast........you have had your *** kicked since korea........do you people not learn?

.
"Yeah...... but they where outnumbered by the pushtoons fighting the russians."

Prove it. After that, make clear your point. Your failure to acknowledge that while the likes of Hekmatyar spent more time fighting his fellow mujahiddeen, a Tajik like Masoud knocked the snot out of the Soviets time and again.

Those weren't Pashtu in the Panjishar. Not then and not not now. Never conquered.

"They where your buddies also until they didnt give you the pipeline deal."

Great. Prove that too. Who's buddies? The U.S. gov't? Should be easy to show when we supported them, recognized their gov't. and then broke relations. Dates of the latter two should be particularly easy. Good luck.

"the majority of the veterans of the afghan jihad joined the taliban."

Now you're really on a limb. Too much pashtu kool-aid in your tea. Only a Pakistani would be fool enough to make this comment.

You must really be in cuckoo land..........the majority of the people fighting the russians where pushtoons......prove me wrong.

So i have to fill the framework you have choosen........no dont think so.
The US wants the taliban to stand there ground and fight so you can bomb them...the taliban are not going to dance to your tune.
Why dont you fight the taliban using no aircraft......becauce its to your advantage.

If you where against the taliban then i am sure the US govt would not allow taliban members into the US............should be particularly easy to find out if they did or didnt.
The US is against Iran.. you dont let members of there govt come and negotiate oil/gas deals.

"and will take over nr. 1 spot as trading partner within a few years."

Neo,

Upon what do you base this assertion?

This from the Australian gov't for fiscal 2007-

Trade Fact Sheet-DFAT. EDIT: Lost the page- EDIT: This page can be accessed by selecting "Pakistan" by nation from the "Country Information" on the DFAT directory.

Pakistan's global merchandise trade relationships:
EXPORTS IMPORTS
1 United States 21.6% 1 China 12.8%
2 United Arab Emirates 11.9% 2 Saudi Arabia 12.3%
3 United Kingdom 5.4% 3 United Arab Emirates 8.5%
23 Australia 0.7% 19 Australia 1.3%

Here's a goodie until I recover the data-

U.S. Census Bureau

Here's more from 2000. U.S. Census data will update the growth from there-

Pakistan Foreign Trade

Pakistan Federal Bureau of Statistics-2007

C.I.A. Factbook-Pakistan 2007

Seems your exports run nearly double to America versus your next closest export market. China is purchasing less than one-third of America's goods according to the C.I.A. They're #1 on Pakistani purchases.

Plenty to mull over here.

Sir,

Sino-Pak trade is growing at faster pace than trade with USA. Whereas USA is delaying the BIT Draft, China is working on an FTA with projected growth to bring bilateral trade to $15 billion by 2012.

Link 2

China will become Pakistan's main trading partner within a decade.

Don't openly display your ignorance with me.

Afghan veterans? See any tajiks, uzbeks, turkomen, hazaras, balouchis in the taliban? No? Didn't think so. How about Sayyaf? Umm...Haqqani (pashtu)? Hekmatyar (pashtu)?

Fairly, all afghan veterans of the taliban are pashtu. Beyond that you're out on a limb.

What's your point anyway? Majority? 52%? 55%?

A nonsensical rant by an irhabi wannabe.

You should be so lucky to "lose" in our manner. Pray for the day you can do so.
