this isn't offtopic because one of your Pakistani friend said that muslim countries don't have free border despite having good relation, which is true because of threat of islamist terrorist than may cross the border..

but since China and Pakistan is such a best friend, you usually see Pakistani getting same treatment in China as in any other country of the world...and common Chinese, no matter how much friendly on web, feels uncomfortable/unsafe with a pakistani around just like any normal person

friendly borders are one between european countries where you don't need a visa to cross border, closer home India-Nepal, India-Bhutan are good example of friendly border

^^ Most probably having at least one soldier from both side who know both languages (maybe participated in earlier joint operations/exercises), or just through tits bits of broken English. Though I would say there are moments when friends don't need words to make the other smile and laugh. Nice thread!
