Ordinary Fawad has a higher batting avg then almost everyone from the current batting lineup. The situations he came in were difficult but he handled them perfectly. The most saddest part is that he was dropped for no reason. Its the biggest tragedy of Pakistan Cricket. On one hand you have inconsistent players like Imran Farhat being selected but consistent players like Fawad are being neglected. Also Shazaib hasn't had many chances to play international cricket yet in his 3 ODIs he already has one half century. His stats in domestic cricket at pretty good and he can really help out the pathetic batting lineup Pakistan has. He scores fast and is perfect for an opener along with Hafeez.

Yeah if you compare to Imran Farhat then obviously both Fawad and Shahzeb are better than him but there are some players who are massively talented but aren't getting chance since Imran farhat is the son in law of Ilyas(chief selector). So if it would about comparing Imran farhat with anyone then Yes these guys deserve a chance and so as many other players.

I think Asad Sahfiq should be back in the team and given a chance to open the batting as Imran Farhat has been tried 1000 times and has failed every time. he may score few runs once in a blue moon but that doesnt make a big difference specially when you have to beat the best in the business. Salman Butt was the only decent opener we found after Saeed anwar but sadly due to his bad conduct he is out now. Hafeez has been hyped really by many...he is appreciated more than his performance...he is good at bowling but thats a second tier for him...first tier is to bat well ....he too scores once in a blue moon.... one may get an illusion that he scores regularly but that coz of the fact of 3 variables

1) He always score at slow pace resulting in facing more balls than score as a result being on the pitch for sometime so one gets an illusion that he is going good
2) Usually rather most of the times we associate fragility with Pakistan's batting specially the opening so we expect them to be dismissed in first couple of overs,that is the openers....so in such mid set even if someone stays for 4-5 overs it seems like a big journey
3) So far he has played most of his matches specially in this year on batting friendly wickets ...he will be tested in conditions like that of Aus and SA where you really need compactness

i have one fear from bangali umpire becoz after seing younis out well it was wide and he gave him out and bangali players will dafinatley will shout even on no balls and wides becoz their bowlers dont have capability to pic wickets when needed thats why umpires help them to get one or two wickets so this is what pak should take care of not let balll hit their pads
