Pakistan Air Force and Turkish Air Force are actively participating in the exercise, while United Kingdom & Uzbekistan air forces are invited as observers. The aim of exercise is to refine tactics, enhance combat potential of PAF & consolidate interoperability amongst..

In Jul 1974, Pakistan Army medical team comprising 30 doctors, nurses & paramedical staff, landed at Adana in Turkey, in Pakistan Airforce C-130 aircraft.

IIRC Turkey's MoD was its Chief of General Staff (CGS) at one point. You start noticing that even though the Turkish military isn't managing the defence industry on the ground, they're very much involved in the strategic direction. In fact, because Akar was CGS and now MoD, there's also continuity. @JamD @kursed @SQ8
