PAKISTAN too good for minorities| a social experiment

I disagree... that's not the only way.
Our politicians have no chance to read all news papers of the whole world or go back in time to listen news from foreign channels.
Without educating nation, politicians will always be heading in wrong direction.

I disagree.
If the politicians are not aware of whats going on in the world, they have no right to make Pakistan's policy or legislation.
Don't vote ignorant disconnected people in the parliament then for starters. We have enough educated and intellectuals who one should vote for. A vote is a modern day pledge of allegiance, trust it with someone you know or can hold accountable.

As far as educating people is concerned. Well that is a process which is bound by time and resource. Make good use of it.

lol

Dude maybe instead of becoming PM, he just wants a peaceful existence.

Nobody migrates to another country to become their PM unless of course the millions of Indians living peacefully throughout the world are planning to become PM of their adopted countries.
I know. I'm just trying to understand him. He wants to apply for Pakistan citizenship BUT he wants to become a citizen of Khalistan!

. .
I am saying as an Indian Sikh wants to migrate to Pakistan would they allow such migration since I have a hint they stopped accepting migration after 1952.
Further they provide asylum?

Apparently no legislation exists in relation to migration and asylum seeking specifically (https://tribune.com.pk/story/1395946/absence-law-fates-4500-citizenship-applicants-hang-balance/). I would assume cases are dealt with on the merits of each case. Hint: Pakistani bureaucracy is hardly the most efficient in the world.

"“In the absence of refugees and asylum seekers’ law, people who lack Proof of Registration (PoR) cards or authorised visa but want Pakistani nationality are provided protection and asylum certificate,” UNCHR representative Tausifullah told journalists"

Given that we for decades have been host to the largest refugee population in the world suggests getting asylum is not difficult, and nothing regarding religion can be found in any legislation.

If he wants to seek asylum here that rules out the PM thing for starters unless he gets Pakistani citizenship.
Even then the constitution of Pakistan allows him freedom of expression just like every other country where they protest for Khalistan every other day.
He will be asked only to officially state that he is leaving his asylum status in Pakistan and moving elsewhere where his safety and security will not be Govt of Pakistan's responsibility.

Now that can be India, Singapore, Canada or Khalistan. Nobody knows?

.
See that's the problem. Whenever someone tries to speak civil, your kind comes and says "first you correct yourself only then I will do it!"

Not cool.
indian and civil is like hot knife to butter. there is no substance

That answers lot of questions. Thanks for replying.

I remember we recently provided asylum to a guy who's fighting for Balochistan independence (I hope we both stop doing it though). But that Baloch guy was quite intelligent. He contacted right people to get the asylum. He didn't go to India Defence Forum for it if you know what I mean.

May god provide basic intelligence to some people. Especially those who want to fight for Khalistan.

Good day.

Good day.

You may be just taking social media or any online forum too seriously to say the very least with utmost respect.

And that Baloch guy can wait in India (peacefully?) that he gets a separate country named Balochistan or let me better you at that Greater Balochistan. It is his right to do so.

But as of now Balochistan is name of a province in Islamic Republic of Pakistan. and now i understand why you think ayslum seekers are all separatists and want to become PM of a new country and thus Indian patronage.

We entertain asylum requests if any individual is facing persecution/oppressed in their parent countries or where their basic rights as human beings are not been respected.

Have a nice evening.

I hope you done with your ranting. Now let's talk about Pakistan minorities. They aren't allowed to become PM and President.

This kind of delusion is bound to happen. After WWII, the Nazis and Japanese nationalists were tried for war crimes and crimes against humanity. There was no shred of doubt left as to what they had done because it was played out in the tribunal for the whole world to see.

On the other hand, the other dominant ideologies that perpetrated a similar mass murder of their own citizens were never really brought to justice. No one was prosecuted for what happened under Mao, Stalin and Pol Pot. Similarly, no one was brought in front of a tribunal and asked as to why the proportion of minorities in any Muslim-majority country dwindles until it is down to almost zero.

Given this backdrop, it is obvious that there is ample scope for such mental gymnastics posing as social experiment. Such PR campaigns would not have been credible had the world actually given justice to the victims.

I have a question if a Sikh wants to migrate to Pakistan would they accept?

All of the above can be taken as fair argument but then it would be the same for every region and religion. Which will just help in delaying any practical solution one has on the table.
So the question many people ask is why this western monopoly on this?
You do understand the irony here don't you?

That slap @2:24 came very instinctively, very Pakistani like. Poor guy, didnt know what he got himself in.

Pakistanis generally side with underdogs, the weak.

There was a survey conducted a while back, Pakistanis came among the least racists of all nations.

Personally I think it is in our blood because we are the sons and daughters of might Indus empire/civilization which was the crucible of human evolution and civilization, the first on, the elites. Racists tendencies come when one has got some sort of complex, but when you are sitting right on top of food chain, with nothing to compare with, these kind of thoughts dont even come in the mind. Thats is why Pakistanis are relax and chilled, with no fk given kind of attitude.

Who would have done the job if not the West? They won the War and did what was needed. Same should have been done after the Cold War was over. Yes it is a Western Monopoly and there should be inclusive participation, except that most other countries are busy persecuting minorities and vulnerable groups even today.

The way I see it, while there is a certain degree of hypocrisy in Western action, at least they can say today that they don't do these things anymore. You will hardly find any American who extols the virtues of having wiped out the Injuns or Australian who thinks that killing the Aborigine was not a big deal, nor are the Spanish particularly chirpy about the Inquisition. Contrast that with the attitude you see in South Asia, Russia or China, the ambivalence or outright denial of what entire classes of society have been subject to in these countries.

Will these countries sit on a possible Tribunal for Crimes against Humanity?
