Su 35 news was never confirmed by Pakistan but Indians were damn sure that Russians will not send there troops for exercises they even posted a thread here and it went well beyond 15 pages all full of Soupa pawa chesting Thumping but at the end we all know what happened

Actually Pakistani deputy director of Military export promotion organization, claimed tha Pakistan was negotiating for Su-35 & Su-37.
That shows how uninformed even a senior Pakistani military official I that he does not even know that Su-37 is a cancelled technology demo.

So conpared to that it's no surprising that some lower level Pakistani official made a poster claiming to get S-400.

No Indian official ever spoke anything about the exercises.

Also Russian media is infamous for confusing between jets and helicopters.
Recently they mistakenly called that Mi-35 deliveries to Nigeria as Su-30. @bilal_khan

What is there to lol,we will protest for every where ever we feel our interests are.
We always plan for the long run,you would have lol if we had said few years ago that China along with India name the terrorist org will be named in a joint declaration,mind you the same groups which China was blocking few months ago.

And if you study how India worked from from 90s when India was talking about declaring Pakistan a terrorist start to USA .when we realised it won't work .we want back studied USA Pakistan relationship bit by but and we worked on and broke one string at a time, bit by bit and we are here after 20 years.do study that it is interesting.

It will take time by we will do that between China and Pakistan too,give it another 10-15 years.

Interestingly I have noticed for the last few years, Pakistanis love to do some Live action role playing (LARPing) every year in September about getting high end Russian weapons.

The weapons sold to China ie Su 35 ; cannot be re sold to Pakistan

Similarly you cannot get AL 31 engine ; That is why J 10 did not happen

China cannot sell J 11 ; J 15 ; becos of IPR issues

You Really think Govt of India cannot Pre empt such things

J-10 didn't happen because JF-17 proved to be much better than what we initially planned it to be and thought it to be. J-10 C with Russian engine is no issue at all in fact we are buying better engines for JF-17 from Russia now. Secondly J-11 series is also not a issue China has been offering us that. Yes China can't sell its SU-35 to us but we can buy it from Russia. Don't worry in coming months and years lot of weapons from Russia will come to Pakistan and you still would be in denial

Russia showed the middle finger to India on joint exercise and MI-35. Russia also lifted arms embargo and India couldn't do diddly squad about it.

There is no contract between India and Russia that Russia can't sell S400 or any other systems to Pakistan. Pakistan is a friendly nation to Russia.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — "Pakistan is involved in negotiations with Russia on a deal for Su-35 and Su-37. We are in initial stage now," Qadir Khan said.

According to Qadir Khan, the Pakistani Defense Ministry's delegation which came to the Army-2016 expo includes technical experts, who assess capabilities of the jets as well as look for Russian helicopters.

"We already have Russian transport helicopters Mi-17, but we are looking for other helicraft, and we are looking at assessment of Mi-35 to buy in the near future," Qadir Khan added.

The Army-2016 expo, organized by the Russian Defense Ministry, kicked off on Tuesday and is due to last through Sunday. The forum is held in the military-themed Patriot Park in Kubinka near Moscow and in a number of locations in Russia's military districts.

The event brings together representatives from the Russian defense industry, research institutes, universities, as well as foreign companies. Over 800 Russian and foreign participants are expected to be involved in some 7,000 exhibitions throughout the week. The forum's participants and guests are attending a number of conferences and roundtables to discuss the future development of military technology.

Qadir Khan isnt a military offical.. but a part of Military export promotion organization, under Defence Ministry ... and came with Defense Ministry's delegation which came to the Army-2016 expo includes technical experts, who assess capabilities of the jets as well as look for Russian helicopters.

The plus about Igla-S is its night time operability using NV however it uses IR based system, not laser guidance such as RBS-70.

The plus about Pantsir S-1 is countering the threat of CBU-105 used by IAF. Pakistani Armoured formations can operate in Indian territory with this AD cover.



Induction of Mi-35 probably was just to get into the Russian market and see what else can be offered.
