Its better to trial Altay tanks in Pakistan's enviroment, then get its pros and cons, compare it with existing tanks and apply its best things to AK tank. Since replacement of large quantities of older T-59s and T-69s will not be possible with AK and Haider tanks in a short period, therefore Altay tanks should be added.

Each launchers are designed to carry two munitions but It can easily be increased in accordance with requirements. At present two or three launchers are planned to integrate Altay turret. A variant of Akkor called Akkor-lite is also under development phase. Lite variant is designed to integrate MRAP and APC's.

Bro, Pakistan and Turkey should focus of such critical protection system together. Since the munition and warhead technologies advanced enough to penetrate each type of armours (Not important How advanced or thick It is made), It became vital to develop such protection systems. Although It raises the unit cost, Akkor protection system will be standart for all produced Altay MBT, . Even if fired enemy munition can't penetrate your armour, It may give serious damage to your tank that make it hard to maneouvring inside of battlefield. Akkor is designed to prevent such serious events. I strongly believe Turkey and Pakistan will cooperate on such systems...

I have always been a fan of turkey and loved all of your products, because they are very advanced, high quality and have proven to be great. I would love to see pakistan do alot of JV's with turkey, specially for thermal sights,targeting systems(cats) and APS. I being a pakistani think that we can learn alot from our trukish brothers specially in conventional weapons manufacturing.

I still want us to ditch vipers and go for ATAKs.

Let the Zulu's come. ATAK's would require a new engine before it can be sold to Pakistan, with the current engine there are more limitations. Till the ATAK's engine issue is solved Zulu's can be a good addition.

Turkey can help us design and develop a new turret and other sub systems for AKs.

Even if a new turrett and sub systems are developed the rate of production would still be a limiting factor. The only thing that is going to fulfill the tank requirement is to either buy some Altay's or get a new production line for AK's.

If Altay Production line is made it would give Pakistan more that what meets the eye.

AFAIK Akkor is Turkish equivalant of Israel's on Merkavas. @cabatli_53 can inform us about technical details.

Thats very impressive, i dont know why our guys are not installing such systems on our tanks, they can easily get them from turkey.
