Pakistan should acquire Altay Tanks from Turkiye?

But why we need this tank ? We have enough Al-Khalids,T-80UDs, Al-Zarrars,Type 85-IIAPs etc (along with back up) ...Pakistan has been inducting Al-Khalid-I also and in couple of years..we would start inducting Al-Khalid-II Inshallah ...what is there to worry then? Also we have sufficient artillery firepower to defend our Eastern border ...We are good !

Altay looks like a good tank but we will find out when PA tests this tank just like they had tested other tanks in the past & had failed trials. So in the end T99 won the race.

The altay is developed by the K2 mbt of South Korea,and the K2 is developed by the M1A1 mbt of America,this sounds crazy,right?One thing more important that is by the time Koreans' tank still have some problems,so actually they sell their unreliable technology to Turkey ,what will happen to these tanks in the future?Let's keep eyes on it.

After Altay tank finished Pakistan will get huge benefit from it.Saudi Arabia and Qatar will buy it ı guess but Pakistan will get advenced technical asistant for Al-Khalid tank.I am sure balistics protection ,battle management systems, hard kill , soft kill systems and electro-optics will be state of art .It will be very expensive for Pakistan to buy it and it is not necessary. (Also ı dont think Turkey will give TOT to any country to product Altay tank.)Pakistan may only get subsytems which are necessary for AL-Khalid tank.If Tumosan's engine will be succesfull ı am sure Al khalid will use it
