Pakistan selling its golf courses in deparate attempt to divert default

Well every Cantt has Golf courses. Take out time and see them through google satellite map.

Stark difference between awam and Fauj can be seen from bird's eye view.

Just for example, posting image of a small area of Multan Cantt, the military colony, then a golf course and then a wall separating it from bloody civilians and then Ghareeb awam can be seen all in one image: (coordinates: 30.174763,71.4034596)

If their would be any morality left then the standard of life between the tax payers and their chaukidaars should be leveled. Huge bungalows of Generals could give immense wealth as well, if someone dares to ask them to shift to bit normal house. See below residence of Lahore Corp Commander. Its coordinates (31.5291668,74.38068). Its 45 Kanal house.

Pornography as prostitution[edit]

Attempts were made in the United States in the 1970s to close down the pornography industry by prosecuting those in the industry on prostitution charges. The prosecution started in the courts in California in the case of People v. Freeman. The California Supreme Court acquitted Freeman and distinguished between someone who takes part in a sexual relationship for money (prostitution) versus someone whose role is merely portraying a sexual relationship on-screen as part of their acting performance. The State did not appeal to the United States Supreme Court making the decision binding in California, where most pornographic films are made today.[8]"

Apparently he was denied visa to Canada/UK due to his involvement in human rights violation and had to be posted to Turkey as a consolation.
He is now deployed in Turkey.

Considering the increase in prime real estate prices, if all the unused and excess real estate owned in foreign countries is sold off, much more money than IMF loan or alms from friendly countries can be earned. Also, SBP is sitting on 5 billion dollars' worth of bullion. Defaulting instead of selling this bullion makes no sense.
That bullion is eyed by those planning a Ashraf Ghani and will move it(if they haven’t already started) when they gauge fit

It’s analogous to pissing on a forest fire.
More like chopping down two trees and saying they prevented the fire from spreading

The full-blown economic turmoil pushed the country of over 220 million at risk of a debt default, with the coalition government taking stringent measures to dodge default.

As the sword of default hangs over the cash-strapped nation, the country’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif mentioned an out-of-the-box scheme, suggesting that a quarter of debt could be settled if only two golf clubs built on state-owned land were sold.

The ruling party leader pointed out that several golf clubs have been built on government land, and opined that selling two golf clubs would have lessened the hefty debts. Lamenting elite capture, he said several notables of society spend their eves in these clubs.

WTF, they are building these luxury stuff on government land and can't even fucking do their actual job properly. Deserve to be lynched.

Doesn't make any sense. Selling golf courses in PKR won't land them any dollars. If PKRs were needed, Pakistan can print as many PKRs as they want but unfortunately, PKR are worthless to settle foreign loans.

All the more reason to sell it off, empty those stuck containers and let the people have at it with their vegetables and whatnot. Let them enjoy a few good suppers before the docks go silent again.

Golf club belongs to army now.

The government has no say in it although it was theirs to begin with.

Do you think the army will sell it?

Please stop dreaming.
