Not only Pashtuns, we Punjabi Pakistanis hate him too. He turned our Badshahi Masjid in Lahore into a bloody stable for his horses. May Ranjit Singh rot in hell for all of eternity.

Firstly over 50% were given visas. Perhaps the others didn't have the necessary paperwork etc. Why cant we just wait and see the official wording? Its simply not in Pakistan's interests to with hold visa applications back - Why would they? Pakistan has always treated visitors with a lot of respect especially the Sikhs in Lahore last year.
Shame that some long toothed trolls have to bring Siachen into this - childish to say the least...

Sikhs were never loved in Pakistan. Sikhs killed more Muslims in 1947 than Hindus did. We just want them to make Khalistan out of indian punjab, and that is in Pakistan's strategic interest.

What it matters is whatt majority of Sikhs in India want. And they love this country just like any other Indian. And they hate enemy/enemies of this country probably more than any other Indian . Something for you to ponder about.

Look if they didnot have the right documentation ofcourse they can't enter its not rocket science you know! for the last 65 years Sikhs have come over to visit punja sahib & many of their holy places! so no big need for hoo haa & drama.

if they get their documents inorder they are welcome like the other WHO GOT THEIR VISAs!

They (Pakistani Sikhs/Hindus/any non-Muslims) are not allowed to become the Chief of Army Staff, President or Prime Minister of the country just because they are non-Muslims as per the Constitution of Pakistan. Clearly 2nd class citizen status. You should read your constitution.

Well my Indian friends here as always jump to conclusion on one side story and that from TOI and we've been called religious bigot yet again...... There could be many reason including Paper work, Security reasons (we will need to give them absolute security here as one single incident and you drama queens will be at it again).

Nowhere in the article does it call Pakistan religious bigots. It just says that 50% of the applicant got rejected, which is abnormally high. Its a simple news article really. Agreed that we should wait for more details before discussing it further.

Its Islamic republic so clearly head of the state PM and President are suppose to be Muslims....... Cant become COAS . You need to read the constitution before going around trolling about it.

Nothing trolling going on here, pretty clear and easy for everyone to see. It says they are not equal citizens. Me being an equal citizen means that I have equal rights as anyone else. Constitutionally saying someone cannot hold a certain(important) political position because of their religion is as clear cut discrimination as it gets.

You can try justifying it by reading verses from Quran or saying things like "Islamic republic so clearly head of the state PM and President are suppose to be Muslims", but the truth wont go away.
