It depends on what VLS ship have.
If PN can get the original version of YJ-18 used by PLAN, it will be a disaster to IN.

No one here can say definitively what is better quality since we lack concrete information to make an objective assessment. Basing current judgement on past purchases is pretty much pointless as since China's shipbuilding industry moves so fast. Even more so when using a export model which is guaranteed to be gimped when compared to the version PLAN uses.
Pointing out China's difficulties in earlier issues to demonstrate what China produces is "lower quality" can be easily countered by pointing out failures from what some people here consider "High quality" such as QE carrier having leaks and a issues with its propellers or the Zumwalts being dead in the water multiple times. I can point out many more but you get the idea.
Sure, there are more capable frigates with better radars/armaments etc for sale than the 054a but the point of the 054a for PLAN is to have an economical asuw platform, not have all the latest bells and whistles on it. It has the 055 for that.
Arguing here then becomes a problem of feelings and perception which is ultimately pointless and unproductive.

But export 4000ton ship seem to have longer VLS, it may be able to house YJ-18.
I don't know.
The length of YJ-18 is close to 9 meters.
Submarines also can launch YJ-18.

the CJ-302 is a great weapon but MTCR restriction means Harbah may be better as a ranged weapon for 54As in PN - PN would want to keep its best capital ships at a distance, while smaller ships can go in closer. Maybe a future corvette in the 1000 ton range could be used for such a purpose.

As of now, it seems the Turkish Ada will have Harbahs, and the Damen boats refitted with Harpoons from older retiring platforms.

CJ-302?

Maybe about 560km.

Then export version will be 300km max range means small in size, so it may be possible to have it for 7 meter VLS.

You still remember the news Indian navy's Kilo sub approaching Pakistan's coastal line? PN is inducting Type 54 for ASW role with its towed arrayed sonar. And type 54 can provide area air-defense with LY80N.

Primary role of ASW will be perform by F-22P or Miligem in future, Type-54A will have ASW as secondary role.

World of facts and reality does not change with the decade. Physical laws remains the same whether in 1990s or 2050. 2050 doesn't mean gravity will stop working. Similarly, laws of industrial organization, organization behavior, economic theory, management theory does not change. Instead of making grand statements, try to learn something from the senior posters writing here.
You're unhinged and rambling because you know nothing about the terms you spew. Paindu experts are dime a dozen here, starting with you. Attain an actual education, see and experience the world, maybe, just maybe, you'll learn something.
