Also if you read the synopsis of the HBO show then you will understand to why 'Not everyone will like it'

Where is this from? Did they participate in some exercise together?

I remember Windy bhai posting this some time ago. If I remember correctly, it's a Saudi F-15.

I know, I know it's only a T.V. show. But given how much effort has been put into getting a realistic representation of Thunder, given the jargon they are speaking, and the maneuvers Thunder is shown to be performing earlier, the end is pretty trivial. And they don't seem to think too much of 'Chinese heat seekers'

WOW the big Refueling aircraft radar didn't see F18. Great work Americans

it is called arse and elbow confused sensational drama script.
the graphics and the acting is cringe worthy.

but I must thank the producers for not showing PAF pilot which would have been an Indian from the south.
just like so many other movies and shows where they find the most UnPakistani guy possible who would be poles apart in accent and physical features

We do have a lot of Pakistanis descended from 1947 migrations from South India.

BUt, yeah laughable. The JF-17 dodges multiple attacks with missiles and cannon and then waits at the climax to calmly to be attacked with a missile which he has to know is coming, no evasive maneuvers at all.

Worst is the fact that the Hornet crew see the Refuelling aircraft and do nothing. In reality the order would have been "forget the Thunder, get the Tanker". A loss of an F/A-18 is a good exchanged for 4 engined refueler.
