Pakistan interested in Hurkus C Low cost COIN aircraft

I'm not sure it'll be cheaper to develop than to procure the Hurkus. The Turks spent around $200-300 m on the development costs of the Anka, which is a CH-4B or Predator-sized UAV. Something like the CH-5 (closer to Hurkus size) is bound to cost more, better to just import them from China. For actual combat, I don't think many prop-based UAVs will be needed, the emphasis should be on jet-powered UCAVs that can be sent for cross-border strikes.
What is the loiter time of typical jet powered UCAV?

Furthermore, I think in CAS near the border in anti-tank operation they can be really handy ... even propeller based

then we need much more UCAV that we currently haven't
yes agreed ,,,

General Atomics Avenger has an endurance of 18 hours. It has a payload of 1,500 kg that can take on JDAM, PGB, Hellfire II, etc. It's powered by a single Pratt & Whitney PW545B turbofan engine, which is similar in size and power to engines for VIP jets. Comparable stuff can be found in Ukraine (e.g. AI-25).

Chinese CH5 claims a loitre time of 60 hours.

Then this bird can be customized for other border patrol roles / agencies like F.C. Rangers, PMSA, Coast Guard, along with primary role in Navy, Army, and Air Force etc.

But PAF do need advance basic training bird.
@Basel has presented a very good argument.

Twin seats fighter are for conversion if u flew f16 and now ur ordered to fly jf17 u fly dual seat jf17b.
But can Pakistan 5 type of trainers ? Currently we have 4 type of trainers ... mushak, t 37, k8 and twin seaters of ront line fighters ... where do you find space for hurkus ?

Yes you can call those twin seaters as conversion but purpose is to train on advance fighters ... even then we already have three trainers which are too much co sidering our financial limitations

T-37 will be retired as soon proper funds are available to PAF they are way old.

yes but cannot be replaced by Horkus B as T-37 is Jet trainer whereas Hurkus is Turbo propeller

Newer Tuboprops are very similar in performance with basic jet trainers while have lower maintenance and operating cost.

Google what US deed.

It all depends on availability of funds to PAF.
What do you think about investing in jet powered HALE drones on availability of funds ... we can live with mushak and K8 as a trainer but HALE drones with phenominal loiter time, heavy payload and jet power will be a trumendous boast to our capabilities both for COIN and against traditional enemy

HALE UCAVS are not primary COIN birds they are nearly big ticket item.
