Pakistan interested in Hurkus C Low cost COIN aircraft

HALE UCAVS are not primary COIN birds they are nearly big ticket item.
Exactly, therefore my inclination is towards those as they have other uses as well but in terms of per hour cost they are close turbo propeller

MALE UCAVS are COIN berds not HALE UCAVS, later are used for bigger strategic role.

Yes but that do not stop it from using COIN .. it will be still much better than using thunders and vipers ...

Look at the benefits ... we can use them in deep strike for which we are relying on missiles only , we can use them for CAS, anti tank and probably in anti air against attack helicopters ... with the humongus loiter they can provide much better air cover to our troops than horkus c

Why you want to shoot checked with G-3 when you can do it with shotgun??

COIN aircraft is stupid.

You can only use those COIN aircraft to bomb those who have no air defense system at all. And those planes is so slow and have no ammor so it depends on missiles to kill those tagets. Specifically speaking, you will use those so called cheap planes only kill Taliban infantry with 50 thousand dollar missiles.

In the end COIN aircraft is expensive and useless in real war. To strike Taliban target UAVs are better choice. In real wars you still need Vipers and JF-17s, at least K-8 attacker variant.

Given all that we've heard ... from T129 to TFX to the Hürkuş ... it wouldn't surprise me if the PAF decided to hold-off on all current LIFT/AJT options (e.g. L-15, Yak-130, T-50, etc) to see the TAI T-X trainer.

In fact, if we read the description given for the Freedom Trainer/T-X (by Sierra Nevada Corporation), it almost echos the PAF's sentiments about current LIFTs being too costly, up-gunned over-sophisticated for the role.
