I still believe that PAF is secretly using F-16s against Chinese jets in the Shaheen exercises.
then you consider Americans incompetent in monitoring and Pakistanis reckless and lairs by violating the F-16s agreement and getting a ban from any upgrades, repairs and maintenance of their F-16s

Both J-11BS and Su-30 (not pictured) participated. The one shown is J-11BS. MKI is more advanced than the MKK and MK2.

It's an interesting combination of a Russian SU-30 and Chinese build copy J-11 and then the most advanced J-10 version.

And how more advanced is the MKI and the MKK and MK2 compared with the J-11BS and J-10C?

Could you list them down from advanced to "not advanced", I think you have more information and background, of this than me, It would take me days, to get all that, just started yesterday with researching the Chinese airbases from where this PLAAF fighters where located, did take me a lot of time, to get the conclusion. Thank you in advance

Best regards

By the way:

I have subscribed Quwas defence Article, @Quwa I would enjoy reading your analysis of this exercise!

Its interesting that nobody is researching and interest in the background, history and Orbat of the Chinese send Jet fighters, to get a picture and sense of this exercise, it's important to understand the Chinese Jet Fighters role, history and technical data, location of their base and tactical and strategical squadron role, all this in reflection with the Indian air force counterpart.

MKK/MK2 use twist cassegrain radars whereas the MKI uses PESA and even though they all use the same signal processing unit, MKI has higher detection and tracking range and can engage more targets. J-10C uses AESA radar, which is more advanced than the 20 year old PESA used by the MKI.

Ironically, one can still make out the low viz markings in your above image but not in any of the images from todays arrivals......I also understand there are twin seaters in the package.

Damn didn't recognise AVM Waqas Sulehri for a minute, he was once OC of a PAF Viper unit and i would often chat with him when he was posted in Washington.
That might just be low image quality.
I just got "confirmation" from a friend, that I am correct. There are indeed PLAAF markings on them but he is not allowed to post the image (at least not yet)!
So the markings are so low that they became non existing
I think picture quality is the main culprit here. If we can zoom, flair dispenser is also not visible in PAF Clip which otherwise are there just below the low visible marking of PLAAF.

@LKJ86 and others about marking...... I see some writing which might help resolve the mystery.
