PakisTan is just a step close to become one of the leading economies of the world only if our Dr. samar mubaarak mand and his scientists & engineers are given a go-ahead with their proposed project of generating cheap electricity , gas and diesel , and that too being done entirely on indeginously designed & developed technology on self-help basis ...

if that true then he should go n sell his ideas to pakistan`s buisness people . or even one chinese.

Dr. Samar does not need to sell his ideas to anyone ... what he really needs is just the govt. vvill and the funds required for the proposed project only and that's it ...

Dr. Samar has already shown the project running practically to the govt. as he is successfully generating a much cheap electricity (rs.4 per unit ) right now as we speak ...

and guess what : this cheap electricity is not the only thing he is making from his project but also he is making natural gas and diesel at the price of 40 dollars per barrel as compared to the international rate of 140 dollars per barrel ... that means saving 100 dollars a barrel on diesel , so just even imagine what incredible impact this mega project can produce on the economy of PakisTan ... !!

so what else do we want ... ?!

When it comes to governance, most Pakistanis would completely agree that the current government is full of incompetent fools ..

The current PPP government has done exactly what you suggest a government under pressure would not do - the power crisis has been exacerbated primarily because the PPP government chose to spend hundreds of billions of rupees on 'Rental Power Plants' that produce electricity at exorbitant rates, while the existing power generation capacity goes underutilized because of the refusal/inability of the same government to settle the 'revolving debt' with power producers and fulfill government commitments to provide fuel to the power plants.

Dr. Samar's projects are moving along at snails pace once again because of the apathy of the government towards investing in something that can actually deliver - the PPP government's approach is to make money off contracts to RPP's, rather than invest in increasing existing power generation capacity or new long term projects.

Please also dont forget that 'Rental Power Projects' (RPP) were given to PPP cronies. They made billions out of it. Supreme court has recently declared all these projects illegal and has forced these thieves to deposit the money back with the court.

The thugs of PPP found this 'business' or rather fraud opportunity with people suffering with power shortages so they came up with scheme of RPP.

This is what PPP is good at. Thievery. No wonder Zardari is the spiritual leader of corruption.

Well had it been true if GOP is not financing some private sector would have been investing. Point is making gas from coal is possible but at this large scale that has never been done. SO no one is investing
