Pakistan Army negotiating contact for T-129 helicopter

you need these sites for the surveillance and these sights include from small to big devices. the better quality sights goes in jet and helo pods, and lesser quality goes into border surveillance and even lesser goes into infantry equipment. turkey had 2 options either FLIR france or Kazakhstan engineering. they went for Kazakh. multi spectrum is what is latest in these systems with cold chambers and focused vision. altitude provides range and vision clarity.

Turkey may be making rest of the vehicle domestically but the sights and ir system being used is soviet. this is the best system available.

Turkey provides tot to Kazakhstan engineering in terms of IR and thermal systems, subsystem. Aselsan has a vast of experience and latest quantum QWIP detector technology, uncooled/cooled SWIR, NIR,LWIR detectors, microbolometers along with image intensifiers for night vision sights. Russia even made a deal with Aselsan to receive such systems when their relations with France broken. There is a separate facility of Aselsan called HassasOptic in Sivas which is established to produce military and civilian optic/lens with processing Germanium on their own. That is a special capability for an institute. It is the reason Aselsan established a new facility in kazakhstan to benefit rich Kazakh Germaniums to produce domestic lenses for Russian and Asian market.

Here is the key photodetector technology owner/producers of the World and Aselsan with almost all critical latest generation thermal sight technology in own facilities can provide anything a costumer requires.

The T-129 contains a lot of US components, including the engine. Are there any guarantee they will not be subject to sanctions. And will Turkey need US approval for ToT to Pakistan?

Please give the names of lots of US components which we used in Atak so that we can learn .
Pakistan can only consider about engine but this engine is also in use of not only for atak but also in use of other helicopters.Turkey give order to LHTEC for 100 engine and for its parts at total cast of 96 million USD.Not only Pakistan but also Turkey can find engine parts if they are in embargo.
May be you dont know how We helped when Pakistan was in embargo at the past
Finally Turkey's domestic engine will be ready in the near future.

InsAllah bro :)

It is the need of the hour to establish helicopter manufacturing facilities in Pak. Otherwise, the PAC Aviation City will be meaningless.

Pak needs to become full-spectrum manufacturer of Aviation related products and services.

Joint ventures with Turkey and China will help establish the ecosystem necessary for Self Reliance and Independence.

Both of these states are time tested and sincere friends/brothers of Pak!

Every penny in such iniatives is worth gold in the long run.

Go for it!

He who controls the big ground controls the battlefield still holds true. Air power in all forms is a must

i think i am not able to make you understand what i am saying.
the company is Kazakhstan engineering, this company made IR cameras and other cameras for military. The company had well researched technology due to the cold war and soviet funding. After the division the company came under Kazakh Gov and business was less but tech was available so Kazakh Gov didn't wanted to sell the company to turkey and a partnership was made in which turkey and Kazakh both will provide their share of tech and develop these systems.

the specific cameras are tech of Kazakhstan engineering Turkey is providing rest of the tech.

You have awesome imagination dude, thanks for the laughs!

I'm talking about Turkey getting the engines. As a NATO partners, Turkey's defense needs will be met by other NATO members. What I was talking about is Pakistan receiving helicopters that also has an engine that is manufactured by both Rolls-Royce and Honeywell. As long as there are no objections to the deal from US, there should be no problem.

Apart from Thermal imaging is Turkey working on the new White Phosphorus Image Intensifiers?

Best deadly combination would be heavyweight MI-28NE and medium weight class ATAK and AH-1Z a clear end to Indian cold start doctrine.

Why does the helicopter have a cam on the top end, rather than the bottom? Wouldn't a camera on the bottom facing the bottom have a better advantage?
