Once again that hookah must be great... you invest $$$ to make $$$ not for charity. Who is stopping you from investing anywhere? if only the great fat sheihks of the arab world listened to such enlightened minds :D
That is policy kid in policy you have not friends and enemies for ever
Where quran said be racist? An angry man who hates others and insult them?
Your mind still work like a kid
Live in real world
Exactly we didn't paid for god sake no one even your love turkey but what? Nothing
If there are not benefits for us why we should support grow up
Bin Qasim came to our lands, should we call him a dirty Arab?

We love him because he was a Muslim, Ummah, part of our family, just because the Turks ruled over you, you have forgotten Islam, so what, you ruled as well, but is that all that matters. Who rules over what, it each does not matter, times were different, and the one who was more capable ruled, it does not mean you forget yourself.

When your life is finished, you are not going to answer to a Turk, or to your King, Allah is not going to ask did you hated the Turks hard enough, or did you obey your king blindly,
He will ask what did you do for your Muslim brothers and sisters, how did you treat other, ethnicity comes later.

You decide what is important to you, following your hatred on this earth, or what answer you will give to your creator.
Sorry guys I'm not religious

No ones being racist. I am the least racist person on this forum. What I am telling you is the truth. Where in the Quran does it say an arab is better than a non arab? did you ever read the Prophets last sermon?

Where in the Quran/Hadiths does it say our loyalty should be to a king/dynasty and that 80% of a nations income should go to a dynasty to be spent on lavish things?

You have a default pic of a pharoah itself... goes to show how gutter mentality you people have.

My friend, there are some distorting facts. After 98 nuclear test, Saudi gave Pak oil on deferred payments. It was not free. Plus, all equipment and blueprint came from China. Pakistan had very good relations till Late King Abdullah. After his death all is changed. But, my personal experience when meet few Saudi student in USA. It was point where felt winds of change, new Saudi generation is totally different from the chain of last late king family living and loving style. New Suadi generation is more toward business and less toward emotions.
But Pakistan army defend KSA for many years and fought wars for KSA and setup there airforce. Pakistan did alot but very less on media.
That is entrepreneur style, we paid for the services and now we are even and done.

Arabs will always do the most minimum but then take credit for others hard work. Look how they built there nations.

Don't read too much into this. In all likelihood, it is about Oman opening up berths for Pakistani retired personnel to join the Omani armed forces. There is nothing more strategic etc. Its a good source for Pakistan to earn Forex and for the retired personnel to have jobs post service.

It could also have some slots for Omani officers in our training institutions.

I can't understand that why Pakistanis love turkey and specially ottoman when they were not lived under ottoman empire
Because they preserved the Calipha of RasoolAllah (saws). Good or bad, weak or strong, we would respect anyone who legitimately occupied that position. Our leaders are not a reflection of our people. Our love for Allah swt and the nizam-e-mustafa is beyond anything, even our own lives. InshaAllah we get the opportunity to see it reestablished in our lifetime.

That's OK, but the vast majority of Pakistani are religious, albeit we are often uneducated and misguided.
Our viewpoints are very Conservative.
The membership on this forum is more leaning towards the educated Liberal side.

A very good step. Pakistan already have good military relations with oman. Tjere are many ethnic baloch is omani army. We should enhance our relations and secure the area, its extremely important for CPEC too.

I agree. We need to build extensive ties with all our neighbours. All relationships have ups and downs but deeper ties help steady the ship in stormy times.

A person with a Pharoah as his profile pic and calling himself "Wilhelm" has his knickers in a twist when Muslims don't find his crazy talk intelligible.

He said it himself, he is not religious.

Worldview is completely different from the other few he has been talking to in this thread.

Which is the problem in a nutshell.

Lack of a religiously grounded basis of things has caused all this non cooperation/infighting we see amongst muslim majority nations. (This applies to ALL ethnicities)

It's a damn shame.

Good for both sides but I'm not sure Pakistan is our ally
Pakistanis people prefer our enemies
Pakiatani majority respect Saudia Arabia then any other country in the world (except our shia beothers) and most of us will even sacrifice life for protecting makkah and madinah.
However there are some conditions attached.

1. We have seen alot of wars and dont want to be part of persian arab war or sunni shia war unless iran directly attack Saudia or any other arab state. In short we dont wanna support any agressor.

2. We dont support arab recent soft instance towards israel.

3. We dont want be part of struggle of dominance between iran and ksa and want to have good relationship with both. We will never support iran against ksa but it does not mean that we will hurt iran for ksa unless there is a direct confrontation between both countries and iran is agressor.

4. Ksa prefer India over our us and is actively damaging kashmir cause. Do u jave any answer or justification of that behaviour?

First of all: Congrats to both and I hope both countries improve and get their relations moved to higher levels. What comes after is less important.
We Egyptians or well... many of us don’t believe foreign relations should be based on religious or ethnic links. I have zero good knowledge of the Pakistani/Indian disputes but I’d fully support my country having foreign relations with the ones who would help us most. Say Pakistan and join AZM, India and use their flexibility of Flankers - India and it’s geopolitical spectrum, Pakistan and it’s good ties with China and it’s infrastructure foreign investment market etc...

Also nothing is wrong with that for Egyptians, I for example have a European name - others also have Arab, Egyptian/Coptic names. Egypt after independence was secularist with hundred of thousands of Jews and Greeks all under the word “Egyptians”. Fighter jets getting named after Arab capitals, co-operating with the Soviets and semi preserving a communist party; Egypt has long been a margin between East and West in terms of society. Though less Western now but I hope this is reversed in the future.
