"Muslim Nations" have started putting their economic interests first...which is fine to an extent...
...but when it means abandoning ur allies, other fellow Muslims in plight, foregoing morality and Islam...all in the name of economic interest...that's a bit too far...that's where it just becomes a cut throat business.

A recent example is the continued lack of action of OIC over Kashmir...even when the ppl were under severe lockdown and pellets were being fired at them. Meanwhile Modi was being given medals. That kind of an economic interest prioritization is a bit too far. In that sense there are no allies...the highest bidder gets to have more countries on its side.

First of all: Congrats to both and I hope both countries improve and get their relations moved to higher levels. What comes after is less important.
We Egyptians or well... many of us don’t believe foreign relations should be based on religious or ethnic links. I have zero good knowledge of the Pakistani/Indian disputes but I’d fully support my country having foreign relations with the ones who would help us most. Say Pakistan and join AZM, India and use their flexibility of Flankers - India and it’s geopolitical spectrum, Pakistan and it’s good ties with China and it’s infrastructure foreign investment market etc...


Also nothing is wrong with that for Egyptians, I for example have a European name - others also have Arab, Egyptian/Coptic names. Egypt after independence was secularist with hundred of thousands of Jews and Greeks all under the word “Egyptians”. Fighter jets getting named after Arab capitals, co-operating with the Soviets and semi preserving a communist party; Egypt has long been a margin between East and West in terms of society. Though less Western now but I hope this is reversed in the future.

Problem is how that ID came into this thread insulting Pakistanis.

I know you guys have different geopolitical views than us, as most of us are pro-Turkish, however why willfully badger Pakistanis?

At the Kashmir issue I support Pakistan Kashmir majority are Muslims so between Hindu and Muslim countries it's absolutely clear Kashmir must be Pakistan like karabakh I think must be Armenia but but you said Pakistan like to be neutral between Iran and Saudi so why we must choose between India and Pakistan?

My post was aimed at what I find is a reference to having relations based on religious/ethnic ties. See post #26 for example. I explained why Egypt isn’t what some in this thread might want it’s foreign relations be like. When did I badger exactly?!
