From a regional and geo strategic standpoints there are lot to consider on this agreement/MOU with Pakistan. Oman signed defense agreement with UK, Inida. Port sharing agreement US. Other elephant in the room is Iran. This agreement definitely positive for Pakistan but in midst of (Oman) agreements with so many contradicting interests begs the question what is the net benefit there and what can Pakistan do to enhance (vs others) its position in the area?

Not entirely so. India has civilian port development understanding with Iran BUT india nag on its commitment because of its priority relation with US and Israel. It is told Iran wants to remove indian role in civilian port.

KSA is a is brotherly country. Dear, We may have few differences on certain matters including Kashmir but it does not mean that Pakistanis don't like KSA. You have your own domestic problems and we have ours. Likewise you have your own friends and enemies and we have ours. Pakistani nation is very sensitive on Kashmir issue so that's why we had listen few hot words on diplomatic front but it does not mean that Pakistani nation forget KSA's brotherhood for technical skilled labor of Pakistan. Coming to the topic, Pakistan should see Oman as its neighbor in its foreign policy. We bought Gwadar from Oman so we were direct neighbors at one point. And Oman has a large Balooshi population of Baloch descent.

Secondly we must look at ways we can have some territory on the straits of Hormuz. Goverment strategists should look into it for future scenarios.

Third point i was talking about this agreement since very long...Indians terrorists used to get into Pakistan from Omani sea...if we control omani sea we can control 30 percent trade goes through here..reason why Pakistan is building its naval power very fast...
