PAK RUSHES SNIPERS TO TARGET INDIAN JAWANS

not elite unit sir regular units have them

for example
1-OP
10-gunners
2- machine gunners
1 - RPG holder
1 - sniper
1- AT holder
2 sub in charge
1- in charge

it can be a smallest unit in army

Yep, but the elite special units have more than 1 I guess, that too better marksmen than regular units, because they are the one who mostly conduct counter ops right ? :)

For all your observations I would suffice by saying ............... a country that had Nato / US forces fighting next door, a hostile neighbor at the Eastern borders ............ did way well beyond your imagination.

On the other hand had india gone through similar situation and destruction that Pakistan and Pakistanis faced............. we yet have to see how indian jawans would have performed. You are conveniently ignoring a lot.

And I said and I will repeat again ........... pray in your mandir and mosques that there never arises a situation where your indian jawans are put face to face against Pakistani soldiers .......... they won't survive the onslaught. Face to face ..... man to man .......... understand this phrase please.

Again now who and what is stopping Pak army from coming face-face, man-man if you are so sure about the results ?? After all it's India who is occupier (as per you), so we will be the obvious defenders. :)

To counter Indian Army's aggressive posture along the Line of Control Pakistan Army is learnt to have rushed 'Snipers' to all its forwar positions

To counter Indian Army’s aggressive posture along the Line of Control Pakistan Army is learnt to have rushed ‘snipers’ (sharpshooters) to all its forward posts to target Indian jawans.

In the last six months, more than one dozen Indian soldiers have lost their lives in different sniping incidents.

On Tuesday an Indian soldier deployed at a forward post in Bhimbder Gali area of Poonch was targeted from across the Line of Control by jawans of Pak Army’s 650 Mujahid.

Defense Spokesman in Jammu, however, denied reports of sniping.

These snipers remain parked at odd locations close to the forward posts to target Indian jawans proceeding on long patrols and forward locations.

When border skirmishes peaked in the aftermath of Surgical strikes by the elite Indian commandos the jawans were even directed to use trenches to move between bunkers across all the forward posts. These instructions were given to the post commanders to minimize the risk factor. These instructions were issued after closely observing a pattern of sniper attacks by the Pak Army from across the LoC.

Late Monday night another Indian jawan lost his life in ‘accidental’ firing while he was moving through communication trench on the orders of post commander in Mendhar sector.

In comparison to Indian Army, Pak Army relies more on their team of snipers to target enemy jawans.

According to official sources not more than 2 snipers are attached with one Batallion deployed along the LoC.

Indian snipers follow the simple mantra dushman shikar hum shikari, while keeping a watch on the movement of enemy posts from a forward location.

Armed with high precision sniper rifle these sharp shooters are an asset of a unit deployed on the Line of Control. They have the capacity to shoot a target of 1,200 metres away and prevent any physical assault on own post.

On the other hand snipers of Pak Army can target the forward Indian posts from a distance ranging between 1 km to 2 km using their high precision sniper rifles.

In some areas, Pak Army soldiers even enjoy the advantage of high altitude and can easily target routine movement of Indian jawans inside their posts.

According to official sources, Sepoy Sudesh Kumar of 6 Rajput was killed by a Pak sniper, a fortnight after the surgical strikes on October 16. Kumar was on patrol duty along the LoC in Rajouri when he was hit by a sniper. A week later BSF jawan Gurnam Singh was killed along the International border on October 21. He was shot in the head in Hiranagar sector, Jammu.

Rifleman Sandeep Singh Rawat was hit in the neck, killing him instantly as he stood guard along the fence in the Kupwara sector on November 9, 2016.

On March 9 this year, sepoy Deepak Jagannath Ghadge of Maharashtra died after he was hit by a similar sniper fire by Pakistani troops in Gulpur area of Poonch.

On April 2, a JCO was killed in an IED blast near the LoC in Poonch district. It was suspected that the mine was planted by ‘rogue’ elements from Pakistan inside the Indian territory to inflict casualties.

A few months ago, an internal report of the Army HQ had clearly stated, “Snipers are force multipliers to any infantry battalion. The high standard of sniper training and their imaginative employment leads to decisive and out-of-proportion results.”

In view of the rising incidents of sniper fire from Pakistan, even the BSF has taken preventive measures such as placing nets in border outposts and observation posts.

Fair enough, and applicable for either side. :)

Pak army hit Indians a bullet where they can no no death but have to retire from army and be burden on Indian economy by getting sallary India has to hire new soldier and pay him too

.
We do that to show we want peace and end to firing along LOC which India starts first by violating ceasefire where civilians also lose their lives.
I am sure PAK Army also returns the favour with interest when you kill our soldiers, one of the reason your army is worried about our snipers.
Oh really , after so many year 50 so years you suddenly came to know word "peace" or the AAF gun employed by BSF taking toll of your units so much , without raising white flags you cant even take out your soldiers bodies?

Pak army hit Indians a bullet where they can no no death but have to retire from army and be burden on Indian economy by getting sallary India has to hire new soldier and pay him too
if India increase its defence budget only 0.5% it will be more then entire PAK defence budget, worry about your economy.

Indian retaliation to small arm and medium fire has been so perfect that Pakistanis are in dire need to get some kills in order to keep up their forces moral...

yes , All PAK civilians live in Line of control , and all civilians fire at India with gun, or PA soldiers after getting killed become civilians ?

You talking about those jawan who cry for food and when they capture by real jawans they call themselves monkey :).
We are handling NATO and managing ur 1.3 billion population who tried their a&& out to isolate Pak :) who young money we released by Jawans after sir ji kal strike.
Even ur biggest monkey is been critized by the South India and the way he is dealing in Kashmir.
Think hard cuz u will figured out this after 20 years.

.
This isn't an exchange of flowers either. Both sides will look to use whatever they have in their arsenal.

If they were that bad as you are joyfully claiming then your army wouldn't be talking about it. Your media has gone bonkers over it.
Our media goes bonkers over anything that brings in TRPs.

Even if this is the criteria for a deadly military sniper then I am sure that India has many Olympians to be posted on border though, you might like to search about Pakistan Army winning sniper competitions for the 2 times recently and I remember Indian participating in the same sniper games yet couldn't make it close PA sniper. Let's keep sport and military professionals separate for comparison that in short, a shooter in competition has one thing on mind to win gold and soldier knows that if I missed, I will be dead or position revealed.
I said it because many Indian medal winners except Bindra have had a military background. Anyhow - it is really upto Pakistan whom it deploys where within its boundaries and upto Indians as well.
