I think the real question isn't whether Pakistan and Turkey offered any such things - it may have been discussed under the recent proposal from Turkey about a joint force to protect al Quds and Palestinians - or not.

Nothing of this sort was discussed.

Today though, I agree that it would be a bit foolish. Indeed as the headline implies, it would be ill-advised to simply sent jets fighters to an country to attack someone like Israel.

That news is not valid, in my view. For starters, Turkey is a NATO member state, which means that even if Turkey wanted to, it is bound by NATO Alliance, and as such, cannot attack NATO's principal ally, israel. In order for Turkey to carry out it's said plan, it would first need to extricate itself out of the NATO Alliance, officially. Otherwise, Turkey will face crippling sanctions, or worse, regime change.

Regime how? You do know that any war against Turkey is ww3.. Try to listen to yourself before posting. Also NATO or non-nato Turkey could enter despite all that.. Israel is not NATO and there is no obligation for them to protect Israel but it is a US ally. I personally knew there was huge pressure behind the scenes but just didn't know it reached that far where they were ready to dispatch. Nobody knows more then what happened behind the scenes then someone whos amongst ruling elite and I assure there was pressure and measures. If this would have continued intervention would have happened guaraanted or otherwise they could get toppled from the inside... So the pressure was very real
