An unmanned Iranian drone allegedly on a spying mission was shot down by a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) JF-17 Thunder fighter jet in Balochistan's Panjgur area, official sources confirmed to DawnNews on Tuesday.

Agreed but that should not stop from spreading the message to establishment of ksa and iran that no one is going to get benefit from the wars they are planning except for enemy of islam and west ...

Our job is to keep on pushing for sanity ... i am glad that Pakistan is maintaining neutrality bw ksa and iran but on the same time message to iran is given that we are not impudent and are completely aware of activities they are doing in Balochistan . And if they dont start behaving then we are more than capable to teach them a good lesson ...

Humans do not seek to be Elephant...they seek to be Lions...
ANd one thing History told us since Adam and Eve... it's that Humans never learn... because Knowing somthing and feeling it are two different things... and tbh it's what's make us human...
So whatever strategy of today... it will come a time...when ppl will seek to feel like Lions... and it's a that moment , that civilisation/empire or whatever are begining to be built...

Sqn Ldr Zeeshan, 2 Sqn flying a JF-17 shot don an Iranian UAV near Panjgoor inside Pak border. This happened today. A second instance of UAV getting shot down by JF-17. Earlier Gp Capt Zulfiqar had shot down the fist UAV.

2nd squadron is based at Minhas (Kamra) - nearly 800 miles from Panjgur.

Why would an aircraft based at Minhas fly to its maximum combat radius to shoot down a UAV?

Iranians haven't come out of their past when they were a super power hundreds of years ago. This is this idol of racial superiority that has merged with religious-extremism since 1979; and this is making them a ridiculous threat to the peaceful neighbours surrounding Iran.

This will help to clear away the misunderstandings that were unnecessarily getting aired.

Pakistan just reaffirmed the red line that must not be crossed, ever!

Do we have any other nearby squadron ? I dont think so ... furthermore it was against drone so thunder had plenty of time

Seem things are heating between Iran and Pakistan...already things between Pakistan and India are really bad...and things between Afghanistan and Pakistan are even worse...Can Pakistan afford a three front war?

There will not be a three front war, in fact, there will be no war at all. Iran is acting out, Afghanistan can't afford distractions, and India can't afford a war that will damage its economy.

In the end, Iran will apologize, or launch a diplomatic mission to smooth things over, because they don't want to lose their hard earned influence within Pakistan. Afghanistan is already fighting a losing war, they can't afford to piss off Pakistan, so they won't do anything unless they're desperate. Modi wants to concentrate on the economy of India, and a war with Pakistan would not only ruin his plans, but would devastate India's economy.

Some one correct me, but this is the first air to air kill that the thunder has officially gotten, in active duty against a hostile plane. At least we now know that some of the thunder's air to air capabilities work as intended.

I disagree. This is nowhere near the level of things Iran has done in the past, such as shell Pakistani border villages.

Iran will seek to deescalate the situation, because they don't want to anger Pakistan, at least not until the next crisis occurs.
