Well, the owners of those sheep are rich.

Xinjiang built a lot of highway in recently years connecting China with Pakistan and many central Asian countries. but many parts of the region is overwhelming inhabited by native herdsmen,they some times drive their herds onto the highway,and it becomes a routine job for the traffic police to get on the highway to direct traffic,haha

Those roads and highways are all along the border regions,they have tremendous strategic and logistic values.

Sceneries of mountains with snow on top and lush, green forests makes me want to go there.
But why drive if you could take a train, so that you can stare at the scenery for hours.

The picturesque landscape is magnificent!
It looks like the train is not reaching those parts shown in the pix
Driving or riding trains have its respective benefits.
