No Nuclear Limit: China

Oh dear, we don't give the crap about the Western Intelligence.

They always suck at estimating China's military strength anyway.

If anything, Western intelligence overestimates the number.

I highly doubt it's any more than 400

Lol,this is not in 1980s,this is 2011.The second artillery had around 400-500 warheads in 1970s to 1980s.Several years ago a HK news leaked that China had around 2300 warheads. Its believed that this leaking is authorized by the PLA.Also some idiots reported that China only had around 10 to 12 DF31As.But in 2009 parade, the second artillery displayed 12 DF31As just for the show.Do you believ that the second artillery will risk the national security to put all its DF31A to the show?

The US have been working reducing nuclear weapons stockpiles for US and for the Russians. Yet we here we see a bunch of Chinese boys who have never served in the military, probably too cowardly or conscription rejects, talking about nuclear war. What was the phrase about war being 'too serious a matter to be left to the generals'?

Who was talking about nuclear war? Care to post a quote? This discussion is purely on the size and plans for the Chinese arsenal, not on the prospect of a nuclear war. No one mentioned anything about a first strike or attack. Reducing one's nuclear arsenal does not scratch off the nuclear counterattack option. And in case you didn't know, neither the US or Russia has a no-first-use policy.

Sure, if we left discussion to the generals, then this forum and website wouldn't even exist, buddy. And it seems, from your number of posts, that you seem to enjoy engaging in these so-called "too-serious" discussions.

Don't let your assumptions get the better of you.

Now, you're just being a troll. What does US and Russia reducing nuclear stockpiles have anything to do with China?? Everyone here, including you, is an armchair general. Okay boy?

You mean this...???
20x DF-5 alone can turn 50 million western whites and their house slaves into radioactive smoke. Wall Street regime's missile defense is poor quality right now but may be upgraded in the future. Need more DF-31 to defeat their defense system.
Buncha of conscript rejects...

Yep, hopefully we will have at least 50 brigades of ICBMs by 2020.

The US spends more on war than the rest of the world combined. If you want your country to be peace-loving and nuke-free, start working on cutting Pentagon's budget instead of trolling on PDF.

The only time Gambit posts anything useful is on technical issues. On issues of politics, sadly, he's the epitome of the American Imperialist. He wants North Korea invaded over their nuclear program. He shares the same foreign policy outlook as extreme right-wing Republicans, who ironically, would love to see immigrants like him chased out.

i m not sure how china will feel much safer with 5000 warheads than 1000. nuclear weapons r for deterrence only. even if a country has 10 with proven deterrence capability and second strike capability, no other countery would dare attack that country.

may be the chinese would like to keep, everyone guessing abt their actual numbers. no country gives accurate figures of its nuclear weapons. there are assessments, but these have generally been proved faulty in case of chinese.

lol, having 3000 thermo nukes will make you feel very safe!!

Think this way. Back in the cold war. US and USSR had 50,000 nukes each. No one dare to mess with each other.

Even if US is reducing the nuclear, it has still many times more than China's. Nothing to be that proud of. In fact the US is the only country using nuclear weapon to kill in human history.

Conscription? LOL! What an imbecile! Don’t take mainland China for USA! Only democratic KMT has conscription, not “communist” PRC.

In addition, conscientious objector shows the wisdom of freely and independently thinking human beings who refuse to be a fodder for injustice.

WRONG

The US and Russia are reducing nukes beause US and Russia is not in a cold war anymore. Russia is now only a shadow of USSR and can not match the US in any way. This is why Russia and US are reducing their nukes cause nuke confrontation between US and Russia has gone to almost zero!

However, China is becoming increasingly powerful and is challenging the US, and US is threatening China in every way. Let it be surrounding China, and finicial disagreements. You name it. This is why China is increasing its thermo nuke stockpile. To deter the US!!!!

You think so because you missed his farce of using air flow to hoax people to belive this is the way EM wave behaves, and the joke that EM standing wave is like what produced by hose water...

Check his out of his lecturing to the world

In the above example, we are looking at an airfoil in the motion familiar with flight, either in the horizontal or vertical axis. As the aspect angle changes, deflections are created and at the airfoil's trailing edge, we have the 'knife edge' diffraction effect. Diffraction fields are scattering points. With multiple flight control surfaces creating many diffraction fields, the scattering points can merge as destructive interference or constructive interference. The latter will contribute to the aircraft's total RCS. There will be some reflections on the leading edge that will return to source direction, they are called 'specular reflections'.

Scattering points from diffraction fields are serious enough to warrant a major design factor for the B-2...

Pitifully, many ARE being hoaxed by his fanciful picture of fallacy…. which are so obviously wrong to trained eyes  But, that's the real world and just a word of caution...

I do recall reading many Chinese approved of the A-bombs as vengeance for what Imperial Japan did to China.

What is truly imbecilic is not doing due diligence...

That is not good, reducing the time in service to only two years, and having such a gross disproportionate amount of leaders: NCOs and commissioned officers, in relation to the overall enlisted rank. That disproportional distribution of ranks and duties heavily contributed to the decline of the Soviet military. But of course, we should not expect a bunch of conscript rejects to know anything about the military other than what the Chinese government propaganda branch feed the gullibles.

You are the only one who harps on this whereas everyone else recognized it for what it was: an illustration. Perhaps not as good as any Chinese Photochopped crap, but I gladly concede that crown to you Chinese boys. And speaking of debunking...What happened to that 'defy Born Approximation' assertion by you?
