Why would he accept when he has chance to escalate things.

You know government officials talked about sanctions against Holland. Almost of the opposition parties said they would support the government %100 about the sanctions. And they are gonna watch if government keeps it's promise about sanctions or not. (Because opposition knows that government is just doing cheap populism, no sanctions will take place.)

My god, this is so stupid....

If i had been an opposition leader, i would go and try to make a meeting in Holland and i would get beaten by the Dutch police. Then come back to Turkey and tell stories about "how i have defended the honor of our country at the abroad".

I don't understand, why do they need campaign in foreign countries? Does Turkish expat has voting rights at home?

I am pretty sure Turkish citizens abroad can vote, and Turkey has a large diaspora community in Germany and Netherlands. To be honest I dont see how Erdogans rally's are too different from Indian PM's rally in the UK and other countries a couple of years ago for example (http://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-britain-india-modi-idUKKCN0T22AK20151114, https://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/29/...en-chants-cheers-and-roars-for-modi.html?_r=0). Maybe the UK and US are more open to foreign leaders holding massive rallies in their countries. Or this is just a display of dislike towards Erdogan and his policies by Germany and Netherlands, due to his stance towards Russia amongst other policies.

It's more like Election is coming for few and they don't want to give Far rights even more voters by giving them escuses... But as for the Dutch...well it's already a lose for Rutte... Everyone is on it now... Even the liberals may want to swap sides... They will remember that for a long time and will hold grudge for it... at least the Rutte side...

Well few will... but the problem is that btw "right" and "far-right" the Differences btw them became less and less "seeable". So that will make Far-rights "normal" , therefore more attractive... . A good part of those "not sure" will gladly jump on that Wilders train, to see what can happen.

Ofc Rutte will not get wrecked or destroyed in anyway, but they will get less seat than expected.

Turkiye is fighting a war. We are in a challenging region. We don't really have friendly neighbours either. We just had a attempted coup too. Zero natural resources too.
GDP of 820 billion is pretty impressive. But, not good enough . we can do better. and that is what will happen in the near future.
