National Flag Code

.
I agree... the flag code should be relaxed... if americans can print flags on their undergarments why cant we?

People are just too damn nationalistic these days. I wouldn't put the flag on my underwear but if someone else wants to they should be able to (and I'm sure they are).

That was lame and stupid. Honesty and loyalty to your country is preached by Islam. so does flag should be respected.

The Quran also preaches don't become nationalistic.

go join the ISIS bro, even the Caliphate Armies used to respect their flags.

but many times i have seen the flag lowered into the grave with the casket, on TV of course, so how is it possible that the Army doesnt know this code?

Respect for your flag and having some intricate code for it are two very different things. Also, this isn't a flag for a caliphate like back in the day, this is a flag for a country. A caliphate army was one that fought for Islam, a country's army is one that fights for a country.

The army doesn't know this code because, as I said, it's nonsense for nationalists.

its ones respect to his identity.

You don't have to follow this silly code to respect your identity.

.
I think we should respect our flag its our identity .every country has codes for their flags

It's a flag, not the Quran. Don't treat it at such a high level, keep in mind nationalism is a sin and also stupid.

Well i am strongly against them . Colours and patterns are important for flags .

Dude I love the multicolor jhandiyan, they look so good in decoration, afterall they are jhandiyan & not the 'jhanda'!

Thanks for the code. :)

.
Flags on undergarments are cool?

That must be some sort of expression, them having love outbursts for their country.

So who would start? Perhaps we can have a show of it in upcoming Bollywood movie…

BTW tomorrow is your day. Happy Independence Day in advance. The common enemy was a colonial power. Not us. But people could not learn to respect each other back then and even now, hence the partition.

yeah.. why not... :)

obviously we will start but not sure when... only recently we have relaxed flag code a bit.. earlier civilians were not allowed to hoist flags on their homes.
indian flag is not as sexy as union jack so wont look as good.. :)

.
We have been hoisting flags since ever. :)

Well, Pakistani flag does have 'that' appeal to it but no one would do it. Doesn't suit our code. Has more of a religious meaning attached to it. The colors can be used though.

there were more than one Islamic Empires in history, no?
Also the Islamic Empires fought for their countries, wasn't the Battle of Badr and Battle of Uhad fought for the defense of Madinah?
The Crescent and Moon on our flag represents Islam, and if you dont want to respect it by giving some regulations for its handling, then dont, it wont decrease our Flag's respect in any way.

.
In Islam there is nothing wrong in loving your country. The problem occurs when you put your country before Islam. Islam always comes first. And that is what Pakistan essentially was/is meant to be.

Yes there were multiple Muslim Empires in history, but not all of them were Islamic. The difference between an Islamic and Muslim Empire is that an Islamic Empire fights for Islam, where as a Muslim Empire is one that just so happens to be Muslim. For example, the Tamerlane Empire is a Muslim Empire, and the Rashidun Caliphate is an Islamic Empire.

Unless the Pakistani flag mentions the name of Allah or any of the prophets, then it doesn't need to have such an intricate code.

the flag of KSA has the "Kalima" on it, but how many Muslim countries have they fought for?
we have supported almost every Muslim cause, actions are more important than words (Written on a flag).
even the ISIS's flag has the kalima on it, so automatically their flag needs to be respected, now tell me didnt the Muslims fight for the Defense of Madinah?

If it has religious text on it, you cannot disrespect that flag in any way, shape or form other than burning it. Also, I did not mean that just because a flag has religious text on it means the country fights for Islam, I meant a flag with religious text on it should not be disrespected.

As for Pakistan defending every Muslim cause, we have also done some despicable things to to other Muslim's, such as the Bangladeshi genocide or making random Baluchi's go "missing".
