I dont understand why the movie never got any attention! It had nice songs!

That is one of my all time favorite movie, not just songs but the whole movie was simply awesome. Imdb has 7.1 rating for the film. The songs were a way of dedication to Indian music great "RD Burman". The mistake the producers did with the film was that they made it in a mix language of hindi & english, they were basically trying to target the urban/metropolitan audience among whom the film was a great success.
