Pakistani Muslims are not blessed with strategic long term thinking.
If we were, then The Satanic Verses would never have seen the light of day.

Muslims ruled India most of the time in the last 1000 years and are almost everywhere in India. So there should be some mosques out there form them. Pakistan has a small Hindu minority and they should have protection by the state. But this doesn’t mean that the government should gift them a temple in the capital city. I even oppose government built mosques. People can build their religious places on their own, no need for government handouts especially if the government depends on loans!

That House of Worship was built to not house any idols in the original construction plan either.

In essence it was a House of God restored just like Supreme Court of Islamic Republic of Pakistan has ordered restoration of temples.

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan (The State) does not even build mosques, pay their operating costs or salaries of Imam or other staff, then how can they spend taxpayers money to build Hindu Mandir? and why just a Hindu mandir, why not a Church? or a synagogue? I was also against the Kartarpur Gurdwara but that helps us strengthen our relationship with the state of Khalistan so fine, we get some in return. But the Mandir in Islamabad would only serve as the meeting place of Terrorist handlers of Indian embassy staff with anti Pakistan terrorists

Jinnah did not say all religions will get worship houses built by the the state. Jinnah said all religions will be free to worship and be protected. That being said, when you have massive economic problems as we do there is no room for any masjid/mandir/etc being built unless it serves a geopolitical objective that will benefit us economically.

Arrest them all and re-educate them in the proper understanding of Islam.

If the state builds the trmple, no one has the right to take it into their own hands. That is illegal and must be punishable severely. Anarchy is not suitable to Pakistan.

I am very dissappointed in Mufti Taqi Usmani again, I admire him greatly but recently he has been butting heads with the government too much. First covid and now this. Maybe he is getting old.

Building mandirs is a problem because of history of violence with hindus. They slaughtered a million muslims and continue to do kill and desecrate mosques.

But it should be totally fine to build churches for our Christian minority.

What can be said for this situation.
People are Opposing a poorly executed wrong decision made by the government but for all the wrong reasons.
Mullah Brigade just want anything at all to stay relevant and gather people around them. Rotten to core, Lagging behind time and age, loosing followers and becoming irrelevant every day past. The Pakistani Mullah/Madrassa and Religious Movements Model system and its Products have completely failed us for providing our society with Islamic Values and Ethics, And providing our youth any moral values that can rise against Injustice and Oppression of Class Division, As Movement of Islam Actually Envisioned and Achieved 1400 Years ago. All they have successfully created is a confused Angry Lot.
May Allah Guide them and open their eyes for what they are doing to themselves and their followers.

While that being said, If the temple is being built by efforts of Government, Whats the point of building a temple in a locality where Followers of that religion don't even live. This money should be spent on Hindu Pakistanis living under poor conditions in Sindh. But if it is being built by Hindu Community by their own money then people should stop this fuss.
