Then we can easily slip in since it's in serial production. Only Russ jet in serial production atm are Su-35 and this.

In 2014, BAF procured one regiment of LY-80E medium range SAM systems which were to be delivered in 2015.

The Forces 2030 says one regiment of LY-80E medium range SAM systems have already been procured. So, i believe to establish good coordination among the weapons, there is a good chance the BAF will again induct the same LY-80E SAMs.

If BNP comes to power they will place an order for at least one squadron of JF17, they were in the process previously. But for present Gov, Pak is a hostile country so any such deal isnt possible. But possible to make deal with China for FC1. Like BD placed order for both Yak130 and K8 same time. If BD places an order for Mig29s they will also seek something from China. Wont defy these two nations. Lets hope BD atleast have something to counter bully MM, which has 31 Migs and 16 JF17 on order. BD only 8Mig29s simply dont match.

There will not be any FC-1 or JF-17. It is most like J-10 from China if they go with China option. They may look into Russian Flanker option too. MM will not be bully even if we induct 8 SU-30 in the airforce, enough to make their entire Mig-29 fleet grounded.

Is it true that BNP was going to purchase JF-17 planes from Pakistan? Then, BNP was only trying to make a weak country out of BD so that it has to depend upon Pakistan for its security against India. Why to buy JF-17 when this type of plane was not needed? For Zia, it was only Pakistan and Saudi Arabia who were the only friends of BD. The callous Khaleda even very efficiently displeased China by allowing a Taiwan Trade Office in Dhaka. This Office in any country serves as the de facto Taiwanese Embassy. It did not happen though because of Chinese anger.

Large number of APCs are actually a good thing since Bangladesh is a riverine country where some parts will be difficult to get to with normal off-road vehicles.

We have actually acquired a large quantity of this BTR-80 APCs, in fact we are the second largest user of these APCs. We could have easily acquired the ToT as well as built a manufacturing plant.

BAF can't procure it large in numbers because of global GEO-POLITICAL-ECONOMICAL and especially Indian obstructive issues. Being mortal enemy of over 80% of ours, Indian would always be stumbling block in acquiring teeth. Thus cleaver maneuvering is the way to go.
